Someone has all RAF rewards. How?

So I’m currently looking at someone ingame who has all of the RAF rewards already. How is this possible? my understanding is you can only recruit four friends per month, and accrue 1 month of rewards per friend per month regardless of how much game time they purchase. That sets the cap at 4 months of rewards in the first month. Then, you could cap the second month. How does this person already have 12 months of rewards?

Thanks

Maybe they RaF’d 12 separate accounts, instead of subbing one for 12 months?

But you can only recruit four friends per month

Sorry, I need to read more instead of skim haha.

Maybe they recruited 4 friends on an account then merged that account into one that also recruited 4 and then they did it once more… 12!

Or something is just busted! Does seem odd.

4 invites per license. If someone has 3 WoW licenses on their bnet, they can send out 12 invites.

Thanks for the reply.

Wow, that’s a lot of wow accounts if your trying to get this done yourself.

Kinda disgusting.

I mean, whales are fine. But if Blizzard wanted to release a $180 cosmetic package, they should have just done it.

They are probably hoping people get confused, refer one account and give it a year’s sub… then realize their mistake and boom 12 more moths sub on the other account as well to collect 2 1-year subs.

“Get their money no matter how shady the method” is the new motto of blizz

They did tell us about it a while ago, so someone could have hoarded 10 WoW tokens while they were still relatively low, used them up, and bought a couple more for the sweet 12 months of sub time. Don’t forget, you can use 6 for Balance then get the discounted 6 month sub.

so…anyone wanna be recruited?

Still doesn’t make sense. How would someone translate that to all rewards on one license?

If you have RAF active and have a second account, you can actually look at the RAF window on the second account that isn’t linked to anything and still see the rewards being earned. I assume that the reward structure is battle.net wide, so if you have multiple licenses earning the rewards they stack. No other explanation I can think of for people having the other rewards already.

RAF 12 new accounts.

2 friends join and buy 6 month subs, or 4 friends buy 3 month subs. Doesn’t have to be a self purchase or anything crazy.

RAF people, they buy 12 months of subs (so maybe 2 people bought a 6 month sub each).

OK this is shady as hell. So basically if I have a person purchase 12 months sub, it will take me 12 months before I can get my rewards?

I need a refund

Non-reading buyer’s remorse, eh? It was well documented.

Disposable income and not giving a crap are 2 powerful things. Good on them for having both and using them to their fullest potential.

Money, :money_mouth_face::money_with_wings::moneybag: if you have it there is a way. Kind of like, if you build it they will come.
