Revised:
I want a button to be in line to play content that will give me a shot at gear upgrades without having to jump through social hoops.
I can’t even convey basic things that I think in my head very well to the people here, let alone to groups of strangers.
Content should be play, not farm to pay for carry.
Randomly queuing into any of those sounds like a bad time waiting to happen. Even with a set ilvl requirement you’re still going to get people who don’t know what to do or are just otherwise bad/annoying/pita.
You could also kill guilds. What need would there be for a guild when any old one can get into that level of content? Sense of community is already weak compared to what it was in the earlier years of the game.
There’s always the custom group finder if you like the PUG life. Or you could join a guild and become part of a community, make friends and have people to do this type of content with.

Because some content is meant to actually have a group be formed for it. Not everything can be push a button and get a group, and it certainly shouldn’t be that way.

I should be hosed on not getting into that content because I can’t get in a group well?
I don’t agree. The grouping boss should not be gating me imo.
If you can’t take the time/effort to find a group it is highly unlikely you would have the time/effort it takes to successfully do that content. I don’t say that to be rude, but that is the reality.

I don’t agree with what you have listed but base mythic dungeons should be in the queue.
Just try to do Nzoth in LFR, now multiply your experience by 10 or 100. That is why we dont have m+ or heroic/mythic raids in the finder.
fight mechanics are way easier than grouping for me, not sure what is hard for you
How would you know if you have never done the content?

I think there should be a category for untimed mythic+ dungeons where you can queue for a specific difficulty if you have completed it previously or up one level from what you have completed. Since it wouldn’t be timed, it would be mostly for practice and would give token rewards.
what are the reasons again?
Guilds would fall apart if people could use a finder to get into keys like they do dungeons?
The content would be too hard to play if you could get access to it?
Are those really credible ideas to you?
I could see that. I would be ok with M0 being in queue.
The only reason I would want to see M+/Mythic (fully) in a queue would if I could be a fly on the wall and watch the madness. Sometimes I like to watch the world burn.
Right now I have gear 458
the only way I can get into higher keys is a friend who is in a guild giving me some charity to run it or to pay for a key
there has to be a better way
They have tried “difficult” content with a automatic group maker in the past, it had never ended well. It was bad in Cata heroic dungeons and bad in MoP LFR where bosses had maybe 1 mechanic.
They had to nerf each boss to oblivion to make it manageable and the forums were full of post asking for more

There is: Form your own group.
Start your own group? Thats what I do when guildies arnt on or are already busy doing things…
Its really quite easy to list a group and select a few people?
Matchmade and non-matchmade content have to have entirely different designs.
LFR and Heroic Dungeons are designed so that any group that meets the bare minimum can beat them, even with poor execution of the mechanics and incredibly low DPS.
Mythic Dungeons and Normal+ Raiding are not.
LFR in particular tends to fall flat when failing a mechanic has a detrimental effect on the raid beyond simply killing the person who screwed it up. Those mechanics are thus rare in LFR, but VERY prevalent in Heroic and Mythic raiding especially.

This is the main reason. If content is in an automatic queue it has to be tuned around the lowest common denominator. See Cata heroics or MoP LFR and the enormous list of nerfs both got to make them actually able to be completed in a pug. Hell, see LFR N’zoth and how it’s considered harder than normal and debatably heroic versions of the same encounter.
Even if I choose not to participate in it, there needs to be some avenue that challenges players outside of the very highest end content in the game. Challenge and random dungeon finder groups can’t co-exist, hence, player made groups with player made filters.
I like the expeditions and the visions simply because that is content I can do without having to join a group that will add to my character power
