what do you do,
A) you send it back with a polite note
B) you pocket the gold and dont think on it anymore than that
C) you wait a bit, maybe the sender will whisper you to notify you of his error.

If they ask for it, I’d give it back. It’s a video game, but it’s also a morality lesson. Real time and money went into making that gold.

Alternatively, if they ask for it back and you don’t give it to them, hopefully they’ll learn a valuable lesson.

Since I send mats back andforth amongst my alts and usually just hit “open all” my mail, there’s a chance I don’t even notice until days later and I’m left with no clue where it came from.

I would assume I’m being framed by one of my many enemies, who is attempting to make it appear as if I’m engaged in some kind of gold buying service. I immediately contact Blizzard support to bring the perpetrator to justice.

way back when gold was worth a lot more than now I accidently bid on an item 10k instead of 1k because of lag , I sent a message to the seller and he canceled the auction so I could get my gold back, I definitely would return if it was a mistake.
