I think we’ve learned our lesson Bliz. Let’s do some more changes on these anniversary realms:
-Paladin Taunt
-Enable summoning stones
-Improved stats on gear
-Permanent or absolutely no world buffs
The biggest complaint I hear on these servers is the utter lack of tanks. Just adding some updates to improve Paladin and Druid tanking would probably be very welcomed by almost everyone. With the community in an uproar, slip these changes in now. It’ll be for the best, and the purists won’t be very loud if you do it soon.
What other changes do you think the community could stomach?

If summoning stones, then buff warlock damage.

I’m cool with tuning up dps on some classes. I see 0 issue with this

No changes,
Though if you want to release the TBC prepatch earlier than scheduled that would be worth a discussion

SOD has far too many changes. And no original trilogy progression. If you want 0 changes, go play era, you’re on losing ground with anniversary realms.

LOL, it has EVERYTHING you want, and it has all the other changes that all the other people who want changes want.
Are you trying to tell us that your own personal changes are good and everyone else isn’t worth considering?

Don’t think so. Look how bad people begging for changes get ratio’d lol.
I get this vibe, I really do. But there are far greater changes already in the 2019 version of vanilla than Paladins having a taunt. The slope has slipped already. Cats out of the bag, now let’s have a real conversation about what the community could stomach without freaking out
They get ratio’d by the same 4 people on multiple accounts Mr. 65 Post Andy.

Huh? Sod has massive power creep because they literally said they wanted to make every class as overpowered as warriors. They added whole lot of controversial content and game loops. This isn’t my opinion, it was blizzards stated goal and largely what the community says about SoD.
Funny, I don’t recall anyone asking for rogue tanks, it’s almost as if SoD was a sandbox that asked the question, “what if we just went crazy with player power?” and not a place to just give everybody every change they asked for and nothing else.
Buffing a few specs and giving one or two QOL updates is not the same, you must not have played SoD, or didn’t seriously considered this post.

Firstly, Paladins are Alliance only. Secondly, Paladins and Druids can tank leveling instances just fine.

Guy, we’re already OP and an excellent class.
The problem is you dont know how to play it.

Sounds like projection. Also nice try at an appeal of authority based on post count. Imagine living in a world where you think post count is a relevant metric to validity of someone’s argument, pathetic.
The problem is actually that there is such a noticeable disparity between warriors and the other tanks that there is a significant number of people just not tanking right now. The response to the community shouldn’t be “git gud kid,” it should be a bit more constructive than that, such as adding a taunt- a single, key component of tanking that was a “no-duh” addition added later. Buffing the other tanks a bit to solve for the larger than normal tank vacuum sounds like a no brainer to a non-purist like myself.

Unironically, all they had to do for SOD was this quality of life stuff and a dungeon finder and raid finder etc. Dual spec should have gone to that effort instead of here.
They didn’t need to go over the top by changing how gear progression works. Classic+ is just supposed to be quality of life features and some additional content for a hamster wheel. Not an overhauling of gear, or locking leveling behind way too long a phases. Or phases at all…
