Ww untouched and fury buffed and somehow dk managed to catch a nerf of some kind.

It cant be the casters doing op damage it must be the dk buff making them do it

I think so? There’s only one version of the ability available.
It would be the dh in favor of the patch
A: i hate this patch and wish arms would take a proper, full-season turn in the gutter for once

id be curious to see an answer on this, since it is listed only under the frost spec. it could very well be spec specific buff
Idk who at blizzard thought it was a good idea tbh. Just looks like a not very thought out “quick nerf dk” kind of nerf because everyone knows dk can’t go a patch without getting nerfed.

I mean, he kind of gave you the benefit of the doubt since the alternative is being called a Boomkin. I’d definitely prefer being called a DH to a Boomkin lately.
Feels really annoying that DKs are always the target of nerfs even when it is not needed.
Boomkins, mages, and countless other classes can stay S tier for long periods without being addressed.
As Mes said on stream, Blizzard is biased against DKs. It’s really annoying.

DKs still can’t stand up to WW and other heavy physical comp stuff, its just a bad setup.

aug/unholy is probably the easiest ladder comp that’s ever existed to this day bordering on an exploit
and spriestdk is probably the highest unavoidable damage comp in the game right now

Thats largely in part due to the way the class synergizes with the spec that ruined this patch (aug). Its the same way in pve as it is in pvp. Both frost and unholy both are the best targets for aug simpage because of the way the class scales with its buffs. Not to mention aug helps dk a ton at tanking physical damage and in turn, the dk buffs aug damage with necrotic aura.
Its incredibly true that dk is not well liked by blizz (specifically the last 2 expacs) as they’re continually neglected and when nerfed or buffed, they do it incredibly lazily.

Idk some classes they seem to buff or nerf with a fine tooth comb and then others they seem to just shid on without a care in the world almost every patch with undeniably lazy nerfs like “necrotic aura nerfed by half”

they’re directly targeting the synergy between a few of the best ladder comps in the game
all of which benefit massively from necrotic aura
nothing lazy about it, unholy is hands down one of the best specs in the game and necrotic is a mechanic that at the moment is bringing way too much to aug/spriest on top of that

Perhaps its not the 8% buff that causes it and rather just the caster specs being broken themselves.

having something that makes you more desirable to caster specs is a plus forsure
but at the moment unholy does some of the highest consistent damage in the game on top of bringing an extremely unique healing reduction and several ranged instant drs
targeting a mechanic implemented before unholy brought all of those things so boldly to try and lessen the oppression of a lot of those comps is probably way better for the dk player than targeting the dk specific damage
because believe me that’s next and was probably the alternative option
