This quest has some weird single credit assigned based on last hit on the mob or something? Impossible to do on a full shard, please fix this so we don’t have another Gromit quest on our hands

Kevin has a “Growth Spurt” buff when he consumes an enemy corpse. When I tried it that buff went up after he consumed an enemy. HOWEVER, it is not consistent. I killed an enemy that he should have consumed, but he would not consume it. A few seconds later he went and attacked another enemy that was not supposed to give credit for the quest AND was actually tagged by the other faction and he comes back with 2 stacks of the Growth Spurt buff.
The problem is that the quest currently does not give credit when Kevin consumes an enemy corpse. The buff goes up, but the quest still sits at 0/8.
This makes the Necrolord assault unable to be completed.
Edit:
Apparently you yourself have to get the killing blow on the mob, not Kevin, not anyone else. Then apparently things will work correctly. Can’t say that I’m going to bother trying though while they work this way.

Kevin is at 8 stacks quest is 7/8.
