SoD introduced new dailies that let us easily get Thorium Brotherhood and Hydraxian Waterlords rep, but there’s still no way to gain Timbermaw rep besides mass-slaughter of open world mobs. And it’s easily 20+ hours of just mindlessly grinding mobs to hit Exalted, on top of having to compete with other players who are doing the same.
Can we get some dailies for these guys? It’s kinda mindboggling that a handful of new recipes were added to Timbermaw rep, but actually getting the rep is still a painfully boring slog with no new dailies or rep farming methods.
Dailies would be very useful to make Felwood/Winterspring a bit more lively and have sections of the zone that actually hyperspawn a bit better than what we got. Doing just the baseline “kill 8 den watchers” quest took way too long hunting for mobs with all the competition.
Seems like an oversight for them to put in new Timbermaw items including some BIS/near-BIS craftable gear that requires honored/revered to make with no new ways to get rep. Not sure if it’s better now but all the furbolg camps were super competitive earlier in the phase and it was really tedious to farm.
I spent a bit in raid zerg farms the last couple days of p3 when I learned about the new craftables, but only got to like 60% to revered. Figured that’d be good enough to easily get to revered in p4 but it wasn’t…there weren’t enough quests and after painstakingly farming the beads in p4 to craft the new gear I was still like 2.5k rep short and couldn’t motivate myself to fight for tags for who knows how long to get the rest.
Agree, could be dailies but it doesn’t need to be if they want to be creative with it. We already do the Donova quest where we uncover the drug running scheme they got going on, let’s have a mini game where the Timbermaw decide they love the stuff too, and we can get rep if we run it to all their allies all over Kalimdor. The quicker you get the goods to the timbermaw npcs they station in various zones the more rep you get. Winterfall mobs try to sabotage you along your route, killing them gives you rep.
I think the main reason for this was that both those reputations required turning in materials from Molten Core to gain that reputation. Most players had no control over getting that, and since SoD is an accelerated mode requiring the really important Fire Resistance crafting mats for reputation would have delayed this phase significantly.
No such consideration exists for Timbermaw because there is no limitation or other restriction on Timbermaw rep. You can solo grind mobs out in the open world for Rep (which you can’t do for Thorium or Hydraxian originally) and you have a repeatable turn in for materials you get from those same kills.
This is the likely reason Thorium and Hydraxian got dailies. Doesn’t mean they can’t also do that for Timbermaw now, but seems very unlikely as late into the phase as we are.

Very simple stuff like:
[50] Kill 10 Jaedenar cultists and 10 Jaedenar demons
[50] Kill 20 Satyr at Ruins of Those Two SubZones
[50] Kill 30 diseased bears or wolves
Well they have drops you can turn in for extra rep, how about adding in even more rare drops to turn in for even more rep, seeing as we are committing wholesale genocide to them anyhow…
Like a totem that gives 200 per turn in, then an even rare thing for like 1000.
