There are two things I will never understand:
1 - why do the back covers look like towels?
2 - Why are polearms held by the front tip? If this is the case, they should make more spears because many players have already complained about this (and spears are intended to ward off enemies or hit them from a distance).

Manoroth, when he held his “polearm”, held it right in the middle…when we drop this weapon, our character holds it in a very strange way.
Why does Blizzard refuse to adjust certain things so much?
All the back covers in the cinematics are beautiful. Arthas, Sylvannas, Anduin, Jaina… why does the player need to look like an idiot with a towel?
“ha we want to maintain the hero aspect” BUT I DON’T WANT TO! I want a fully customizable character, me and many people I know.
The player MUST have the power of CHOICE in their hand.
What back covers will he use, whether it will be a towel or a real cape, what armor, what powers (talents, big win), what shape the power is in (this already exists via glyphs), how he will hold a weapon, what poses he will do (the pose combat of a darkspear female troll warrior is horrible), whether it will be a fuller or thinner character (fat or skinny) - I bet there are fat orcs. This should all be the player’s choice, but the company refuses to create these features that, you may disagree, but it’s relatively easy for a company this size to create things like this

Transmogging spears as a fury warrior has the potential to do more harm to you than your enemies. They clip through your character’s midsection constantly.

Animation work for weapon animations costs money, likely a lot.
Folks have been waiting for years for this kind of thing to be updated, but no dice.
Hunters hold guns pretty stupidly when not in combat (in one hand like a pistol, even though all guns are pretty much rifles or shotguns), polearms are held near the topmost end instead of hands far apart on the haft, and various other weapons look dumb as well.
I think the last time some of these weapon stances were touched upon was Legion, for the artifacts, and that was some time ago.
I’m thankful my Monk holds his staff over the shoulder, but that’s only unique to the monk artifact staff.
I’d probably go crazy if I had to use an ordinary staff or polearm, because the combat animations aren’t as smooth.

use two of these and your warrior will look like a killing machine.
the name says “spear” even though it is a polearm and is held like a SPEAR!
that’s what I’m talking about.

Gotta hard agree on capes looking like the towels or small blankets i used to tie around my boys when they were little to look like super heroes. We’re not little kids, mostly, anymore! Give me my Champion cape!

I dressed up as Batman when I was a kid and the cape was tied around my neck.

They don’t have the tech yet to do proper capes if that is what you are referring to.
They once tried to sell us on capes that you can see shift and wave etc but never happened. Ends up getting some rigging/animation or w.e and that is mostly it.
As for the pole arm gripping.
Beasts have more strength, humans wouldn’t naturally grip the mid section of a weapon like that with a blade like that.
If you mean th e fighting stance, ya that is kind of odd.
Lots of things go low on priority list for Blizz, just how dev companies operate , or some at least from what I heard.
never thought about that ?
It’s not so much that, but now I can’t help but picture all my characters as little kids with their underwear on the outside of their pants, little goggles on and a towel around their neck, running around their house, pretending to be a superhero.
