Some things can never be undone

DOOM: The Dark Ages trailer
https://youtu.be/4tk8lkmYGWQ

I assume it’s a prequel of DOOM 2016.

The sleeveless version is probably better. Evokes the old look, shows off Doomguys guns :muscle:, and stands out from all the other sci-fi armor.

I just pulled the first image from google.

As far as the dark ages look, I dunno, time will tell if it feels right. I’m so used to the current Praetor Suit, the fur cape is really a bit much.

Also RIP no Doom Sword. Giving my boi a medieval look and he doesn’t have his laser sword. Maybe he’ll get a laser axe like the Marauders have. Time will tell.

Challenge accepted.

TBH I don’t mind about it. I don’t feel a deep connection to the helm and I don’t mind it is destroyed to further the story.

How could you forget Commander Keen’s helmet.

Lil guy running around in a Packers helmet sized for an adult.

Me too. I just read that the name was canonized in 2013 which was more than a decade after it was first designed.

Everything about the Shadowlands / sylvannas / the Jailor was terrible imo.

They really messed up big time with how stupid that whole story arc was. It really bugs me how pointless it all was.

I prefer to pretend none of that existed.

Dragonflight is fine, and looking forward to War Within.

People worry about the weirdest things. I suppose I have enough adult responsibilities to deal with than to worry about something like this.

It’s not Sauron himself.

“The Lord of the Nazgûl, also called the Witch-king of Angmar, the Pale King, and the Black Captain, is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. He had once been the King of Angmar in the north of Eriador. He is the bearer of a Ring of Power, one of the nine that the dark lord Sauron gave to Men, who become the Nazgûl or Ringwraiths. This gives him great power, but enslaves him to Sauron and makes him invisible. By the end of the Third Age, his name has been forgotten.”

Listen. It’s an iconic helmet. It’s not the most iconic helmet in gaming history tho.

Yeah with this many versions of Skyrim released/rereleased it better be more iconic.

That’s so toxic.

Todd Howard wishes he were GabeN and could just make money without having to make new games.

Smh. That said I can kind of get it, when the possibility of infinite dollars is in reach, it’s hard to not reach for it,

I disagree. This is a fantasy setting. ANYTHING can be done.

Just slap a coat of metallic dark grey paint on it, add some artificial wear and tear, weld on some spikes, and ta-daaa! Good as old.

It was the one in LotR where he was like: “No man can kill me.”
and then blonde chick who snuck her way into the war says; ‘I’m no man.’ and then stabs him in the face helmet and it implodes.
Return of the King, I believe? It’s been a decade or so.

I fell asleep during most of them. I legitimately thought the fellowship defeated Saruman and I just slept through it, turns out that scene was never in the movie.
