If you are playing classic or leveling an alt you will see the old helm in Chromie time. If you are playing retail you probably will never see it again
The people who seem to worry the most about this sort of thing hate Shadowlands and won’t ever go there so they won’t ever see it again.

I can list several gaming helms that more people would be familar with than Lich King’s own helmet.
Skyrim Viking helmet
Master Chief’s helmet
Samus Aran’s helmet
Doom Guy’s helmet
Imperial Stormtrooper’s helmet
Mandalorian/Boba Fett’s helmet
Dead Space helmet
Warhammer Space Marine helmets
Shovel Knight’s helmet
Btw, his design (Lich King) is almost a direct rip-off of the Witch King from Lord of the Rings lol.
What’s also funny- Witch King wields a fire sword, Lich King wields an ice sword. So original! /s

And Shadowlands as a whole can’t be reverted, neither can BfA, WoD etc.

It can be, but it requires more creative freedom and courage than any company possesses.
They could retcon everything about SL and remove every ounce of its code from the game. I would support it, I’d buy a 12 month sub just to stay subbed through the content draught it would cause, even. Just to support getting this garbage out of the game.
