I noticed some streamers have around 80fps in isle of conquest when there are 20vs20 or more people around killing each other… which made me think so it’s possible then?
What is the best CPU to reach this? the one I was watching was Ryzen 9 7950X3D… and It looked hella insanely smooth.
The best for most people would be the 9800x3d. A case can be argued for the 9950x3d, but that would be on the individual’s use case.
Watching someone stream does not equate to actual gameplay for you. Depending on streamer/video/settings you can be watching at 30fps/60fps and it will look very smooth.
Being melee is more prone to FPS dipping. Even in the clip you linked the moment he ran into melee it dipped to the 40s
This is 100% the case. With World of Warcraft specifically there’s a bunch things you have to set up and other programs you have to use with the 9950X3D/7950x3D. With the 9800x3D you just plug it in and start gaming.
You will also only be using 8 cores on the 9950X3D. So unless you absolutely need 16 cores outside of Gaming it’s literally a waste of money for most people.
