After completing a solo run in Torghast today I returned to the normal areas outside the instances only to see t hat several of my abilities on bars 1 and 2 had been removed. I was able to place them again without issue but it was odd.
I can’t say for certain but it seemed to be my most commonly used abilities that had been removed.
I want to add that this happened to me as well. Might be a Blood DK/or just DK thing. I had it happen on my DK like you. She’s Blood specced…
I’ve had this happen on my Blood DK, a Havoc DH and Ele shaman.

Any changes to your bars that are made inside Torghast don’t stick.
With good reason. Torghast will grant powers that are castable spells that will get added to your cast bars so you can use them. But you will lose those powers the moment you step through the exit portal, so the action buttons should reset to what they were before you entered the scenario.
When I reported this it was not in reference to bars being reset for Torghast. That feature is very nice and I love it because I destroy my bars sometimes depending on the build I pick.
When this happened (still only 2 times) I went into Torghast with my normal bar setup, changed nothing while there (blood spec), and came back out with empty slots on my main bars.
You didn’t accidentally select a different bar? The game UI allows you to select alternate pages of action bars but if you don’t populate them they’ll be blank. This used to be a headache for me until I unbound the keybind for that. (I don’t know if there’s a default keybind for that any more.)
No I use elvui and my bars don’t scroll like the default ui. But it is good advice for anyone to consider if they think they have seen this kind of issue.
I’ve been doing Torghast every week and this literally only happened 2 times at the beginning of the xpac so I assumed it was just some weird bug that has since been fixed. I only came back to this thread because I saw a notification that someone has posted.
Still happening DH Havoc today
Exited game and they came back.
Still an ongoing issue happens to my demon hunter if I switch specs and back they come back.
