Assassination Rogue is currently ranked #32 on M+. Sublety is #39. Outlaw is #38. Rogue as a class represent 50% of the last 7 DPS spots in the game for the premier gameplay avenue.
Balance, and Feral are both inside the top 3.
Druids are a popular class because they’re easy to play, easy to drive, easy to perform on, and if you’re not strong for a single patch cycle you can change to three other roles within the same character/gear progression for equally dominant power spiking.
Giving Druids all 4 pillars of group based gameplay was a mistake. They should have never been given melee dps, ranged dps, healer, and tank – especially not while multiple classes only have DPS.
Do druids really cry that much harder than mages or hunters or paladins?
I feel everyone yells and shouts about their class.
I would LOVE to see someone tally up all the class complaint threads on the WoW official forums over the last 2-3 years and show what the % of complaints really looks like.
In my experience (since closed beta) - Yes. Druids routinely complain if their class is not at least A+ tier in all 4 roles simultaneously. If ANY specialization is substandard it’s unacceptable, regardless of the performance of the other 3.
Those people have completely failed at remembering ‘druid’ is a class, and ‘specializations’ aren’t classes.
lol this charts are funny as only the top 1% cares. For the 99% who can’t even get the rotation and CD right it means nothing. We as in us mortals can’t even tell the difference. Heck most content of what most people do don’t even care just okay the spec you like.
Don’t see why the OP is complaining when he isn’t even at the top 10% of wow players
OP just has no idea how to play sadly and we see it all the time, players who either don’t know how to play or play with people who don’t know how to play and think those certain specs are bad.
This game has like a billion specs. It’s never going to be perfectly balanced. The return of talent trees has only made that worse but I’d rather have balance issues that have boring cookie cutter classes with very few compelling choices.
Please point me to the game where everything is perfectly balanced and tuned. It’s just not a thing. You’re always going to have specs who out perform and under perform. At least Blizzard is much quicker to balance in this day in age. Because back then, if you were underperforming, you were going to be underperforming for the duration of the patch, if not the entirety of the expansion.
WoW is balanced MUCH better than it used to be back in the day. It’s honestly comical to look at the weekly charts WoWHead posts of classic raids because it’s the same every time. Warrior is at the top, and ret paladin is at the bottom.
