Some side-quests actually had me shout outloud

Starting with something lesser, The last mage is a great questline.

but Grieve and weave
AND
Pillar Nest of horrors are real stand outs, with Pillar nest of horrors being pretty shocking and it actually made my skin crawl and made me paranoid looking at the ceiling in game.

There was another one I wanted to mention but forgot already, I mean, i guess a lot of the earthen requirement side quests are memorable too.

That one really got me, because I didn’t expect it.

The freaking out about his wife going to kill him, but wanting to go their house, genuinely made me think he was being dramatic. Up until I delivered the poor guy to her… What really got me though was just how accepted it was. He tells us the guards would deliver him to her and most of her club treats as something acceptable, with two dissidents about it. You had one who just considered old fashioned and another who lamented that he didn’t listen when she warned him.

The quest chain with Korgran hit me in the feels.

Korgran was definitely a big one. The Earthen have such a unique relationship with “Death” because there’s absolutely no mystery in it for them.

It wasn’t a terribly interesting quest, but as soon as I saw “Saving Private Spindle” pop up from the Weaver I instantly stopped mainlining the main story quests and accepted it. No way I’m letting that little guy remain in peril.
