You can neither put SOCKETS nor CORRUPTIONS on items that were obtained from the 500 Conquest Cap. I got this item from the weekly conquest cap and upgraded it with a trophy, now I can’t put anything on this item.
I tested it out and you can’t put anything on 460 items from the conquest cap either, so the Warlord’s Trophy doesn’t seem to play a role.
Please fix or acknowledge this blizz, I’ve been reporting it for months now without any success or acknowledgement - a quick comment on the issue would already be enough.
Edit: Also pls let us copy characters to PTR so we can test out these things before we do it on live and waste our trophies, sockets, corruptions or other items

it also occurs in pvp items that you pick on the 500 domination cap and in items that you use gladiators trophy.
With the way pvpers are treated cant say i am surprised i tried this on a ring a while ago and it didnt work. /sigh

I’m also having the same issue. Received 460 gloves from cap. Can’t corrupt or socket. Opened a ticket and they just said they knew about the issue but there’s no fix yet. Please solve this issue, Blizzard!

Sitting on multiple elite trophies I want to use on pvp gear. Please fix this!
Id really like to socket a few Corrupted Gladiator pieces & I dont understand why I cant. Its 8.3 gear & its no different from raid gear.

Not fixed for all PVE gear. Cannot socket a 460 ilvl belt (Darkwood Sentinel’s Cinch) from a heroic Darkshore warfront award.
