Shadow Priest will start doing a lot more damage once it gets Shadowform. They literally get a 25% damage increase at the bottom of the talent tree. Wait and see how the class looks at 60.
Between shadow weaving shadow form and darkness there are quite a few damage boosts for SP to get. On the other hand, there’s another month and a half of this phase, its kind of sad how SP are.
To be fair, Void Plague and Homunculi are actually very good now. A “hybrid” playstyle that supports their team with penance but kills targets with void plague, devouring plague, Homonculi, SW:P etc is probably PvP viable just based off how good Penance is for support and how good void plague and homunculi are, even if the base Priest kit is awful.
