Don’t loot them all? Loot one, skin it, then repeat? You literally have a built in skin protection in the form of loot on the body.
Take your time…
it’s like 50%+ of nodes…
It has nothing to do with being faster. If they start swinging when you are in the middle of your swing they get to loot and then have the advantage since they KNOW they must disable auto loot by being the party that came nose diving out of the sky. Being able to disable auto loot mid swing would solve this.
Turn off auto loot, simple. I steal from alliance every single day because they can’t figure it out. It’s been that way forever. I never do it to my own faction, though.
Just learn how to do it back to them. As far as I’m concerned it’s PVP on a PVE server; and they are 70% of my server population. They can figure it out.
And something like that where there is no pvp solution has historically been considered griefing. Though you are safe because blizzard won’t take action against anyone in a declining subs market.
No, this is incorrect. It’s only griefing if it’s same-faction, and that has always been the case. That’s why I never do it same-faction. Otherwise you could claim that tagging a world boss is griefing to deny the other faction.
Reset your perspective and you’ll feel better about this mechanic.
I wouldn’t even say that taking a node while your own faction is on it is griefing.
If it’s your ore, why is it in my bag?
back in classic you could drop an infernal on people in cenarion hold, same faction, and the guards would kill them. Plenty of bans went out for that. I would reset my perspective if there was a realistic counter to this when it happens instead of having to gimp my farming all day.
Another example of the toxicity… The mana thistle spawns in negrand. There is one that spawn in one of the camps of 4 casters. The server literally loses hours of mana thistle spawns because no one will attack the mobs to clear to the node because they know the instant they do so someone will swoop in and steal it. This community is garbage.
The realistic counter is to turn off auto loot and only shift+click when you see the area is clear. That’s what I’m trying to get across to you.
If you’re ninja-ing from your own faction, you are put on my list of ‘won’t craft items for’ that our guild shares. When someone is on that list, they can repay the item they ninjad before we’ll provide them an enchant, or a craft.
That sucks, if only there was ways around it to say, have a pet tank the mob, or to CC the mob for just long enough to get the node.
Oh well, guess we’ll all just be stuck here complaining on the forums.
“Wont craft items for” Lol, good thing I’m on a server with thousands of people and I only need to buy consumables from the auction house.
There’s 2 pet classes and there are 4 mobs. Neither are a viable solution. These mobs will kill a BM hunter’s pet before the pick finishes. A warlock pet won’t last long enough for you to start the pick.
Thats crazy, do what Blizzard wants and get a second account, boost it, level it to 70, get flying, and have it suicide into the packs so you can get the node.
now that is actually a solution I guess… Still probably miss it half the time with the twitchy people lurking
Good for you? The Mankrik mindset is strong with this one. I’m sure you charge people in your own guild for services. Say hi to Crinkle for me.
Then be twitchy-er? That’s just your own fault at that point if you’re not fast enough.
While running two accounts the “legal” way?
So arrogant.
First, who is Crinkle? Actually, I don’t care.
Second, Mankirk mindset? What type of evolved boomer are you? I’m just on Mankirk because it’s a big server with a horde majority on the East coast, not because of some server loyalty.
Lastly, nah, I don’t, but I do 100% “steal” nodes from everyone because if it was really theirs, then why is it still in my inventory?
Cope harder.
Yeah dude, you aim your second toon, hit num lock, alt tab, get the node.
Or don’t, I don’t care, it’s not my gold. Keep staring at a plant and not making money lol.
And here is the problem with the community. Thank’s for pointing yourself out
