Some feedback

I just wanted to give some of my feedback now that weve been playing with the reworks in midnight for a while. Overall im having fun with the frost spec, and im very grateful that the proposed changes to ray were reverted for the .05 patch because having 2 charges has been a heavy piece on helping the feel of the rotation with the rework!

Ive pretty much played spellslinger frost mostly, but ive dabbled in frostfire frost, and both arcane specs as reference.

At the moment my biggest gripe with spellslinger frost is that blizzard is tuned to a point where it is simply not good to cast it. That feel very strange because weve had a pattern for years now that in AOE situations keeping blizzard down was #1, with that said if its not #1 but shifts down in priority im not saying we cant be flexible in our rotations, but for it to be so bad its better to ignore it (other then as a precast) feels very off. i dont know if it just needs straight numbers tuning, or if needs to have some kind of hook into the either the hero talents or stringer hook into mastery but i think this really just is strange.

For frostfire frost, imo there is a big issue i would really like to give feedback on. The number one thing is i really wish comet storm was not tied to ray of frost, i see why (to a point) it was changed, but after playing with it more and for the aesthetics of the hero tree i really wish we had it back on a 30second cd and that cant happen as long as its tied to ray because if ray was only a 30 sec recharge it would very much impact the dmg profile and freezing build ups which currently i think are in a great spot.

For frost in general, i know there are alot of people in both camps for glacial spike being tied to frostbolt, i dont really think i mind it either way, however i will say the current way we can get a glacial spike out of combat feels super fun, and i hope that is considered more for the .05 updates

for arcane, ill say i really liked TWW play style, but the current overall idea of it as i understand it isnt something that just keeps me from messing with it and playing it from time to time and still enjoy what i have played of it.

With the above said though, my biggest complaint with the spec is how we have an orb and missle side of the tree. With current tuning and playing the orb build for spellslinger you simply dont cast arcane missles, and for me arcane missles is THE spell that makes me think of the spec. i really enjoy popping missles and walking around as they channel and i get to see that animation. its cool. its even the first talent in the spec tree. i think its WILD that there is a world where we dont use this spell. That is honestly and truly my biggest complaint with arcane, i dont know how you guys need to change things for tuning to make it balance-able, idk if its something like making orb/missle a choice node and consolidating the orb/missle talents to work based on whats selected and that would give you design space to open up a section of the tree for something new, or if there needs to be more iteration on the current hooks for the hero trees with salvo (or changing salvo itself). i prefer sunfury arcane and love the ascetics of it with summoning the phoenix and having the arcane soul window, it feels satisfying. but currently the orb spellslinger build is just so much better then it would be silly not to play the other.

again, overall im pretty happy with spellslinger frost, but i really hope frostfire frost and arcane can get some iteration/changes to make them feel better! at some point im going to try fire some more ive not played it much since prepatch/beta
