It looks like certain guardian elixirs with “potion” in the name are being categorized as Potions in the Alchemy menu. The list includes all elixirs that give hp5/mp5:
-Mageblood Potion
-Major Troll’s Blood Potion (and all of its lesser variants)
These just need to be reorganized correctly under the Elixirs tab of the Alchemy menu. Thank you!
well that post was made in May of 2021…it is now September 2022 & we are 1 week into the pre-patch for WotLK & after a week of trying to figure out what was going on with my raid/dungeon consumables I found this old post. Only took 15 months for Blizz to accommodate OP’s request & give the rest of us no notice of the change. As a healer there are no flasks for me to use to augment my heals. Since this change has been made & I can use 1 Mageblood Potion (Guardian Elixir) & 1 Elixir of Healing Power (Battle Elixir) the same as I did before but now if I die I can no longer reapply the 2 elixirs as they now have a cool down. I can’t even reapply 1 elixir. Is this really working as intended? I know it definitely is no longer working for me. I am open to any alternative consumable suggestion but all I can really think of is the old saying “If it ain’t broke…Leave it alone!”
