I have explained this multiple times in this very thread. Threads that relate the state of Diablo to the state of Blizzard and/or WoW are left alone by the moderators. It is also these threads that I am defending, nothing more.

You might be mistaking another moderator-trend for that.
That is, it's very common for the moderator to deal with spam about a fad-complaint by deleting all the threads - except one. They leave one so people can discuss it, but focus the discussion there instead of spread out across many threads.
The mods usually leave one survivor, even if the overall spam isn't really appropriate.. because, it's better to do that than delete all of them and then people just spam more. I guess they could moderate those double-spammers, but.. often the mods prefer a less confrontational approach.
Anyway, there's almost always a survivor thread.
That's the thread to post in.
Is it really that important to hyper-analyze how they moderate the forum instead of just talking about the subject itself?
Thread got moved? Talk about it where it got moved to. Thread got deleted? Figure out why and then talk about what you want to talk about appropriately.

At this point it's not about discussing the topics that were removed, its about trying to justify them being in this forum and trying to be "right" about that justification.

i'm pretty sure the people of GD have some serious investments in foil companies.
I moved them. I will continue to move them or delete them. I don't know if you are aware but Diablo isn't World of Warcraft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
