Just some things i’ve found while testing mw:
- Zen Pulse on an ally can knock enemies out of stealth.
- Zen Pulse is an extremely mana efficient heal. On two targets it can crit for upwards of 165K for 3.8x less mana than Vivify.
- Zen Pulse is affected by Bonedust Brew (BDB removed soon).
- Unison when channeled, near an ally, will rng between double healing the target or split healing to the ally. It will prioritize the injured player; if both are injured/healthy it will rng. Does not apply if there are no nearby allies. Pets/summons do not count as allies.
- Unison does interact with Summon Jade Serpent Statue but does not interact with Invoke Yu’lon, the Jade Serpent. Same rules above apply.
- Unison does not include Gusts of Mists procs onto the secondary target, nor does the secondary target have a chance to proc its own Gusts of Mists or Bountiful Brew. Soothing Mists crits are included.
- Unison doesn’t interact with Peaceful Mending; meaning that the secondary target, doesn’t get the increased 30% healing.
- Peaceful Mending does interact off Summon Jade Serpent Statue Soothing Mists, but does not stack the +30% with your own channel of Soothing Mists.
- No matter what combination of talents you pick (i.e. Focused Thunder, Tea of Serenity) Mists of Life + Thunder Focus Tea combo will always ONLY extend the duration of Renewing Mists; never includes Enveloping Mists instant heal.
- Thunder Focus Tea can give you two free Vivifys for a total of 19K mana saved; Tea of Serenity can not only proc Vivify once or twice, giving the same effect or better, it will always save more mana regardless of the procs.
- Vivacious Vivification is based off an internal timer.
- Peaceweaver functions with Restoral, despite the tooltip saying “Requires Revival talent”.
- Misty Peaks will not proc on someone with Enveloping Mists on them, but will proc on someone with Mending Proliferation on them; yes, the % effects stack. The Misty Peaks Enveloping Mists can also bounce back Mending Proliferation to the initial target after their Enveloping Mists has ended, essentially extending the %healing duration by 1-2s.
- Mending Proliferation will not proc on someone with Enveloping Mists, but you can cast Enveloping Mists on someone with Mending Proliferation. i.e. you could cast Enveloping Mists on the off target, then swap to main target (usually receives Mending Proliferation instantly), then Enveloping Mists for +80% healing on the main target for +5s.
- The stacking +% healing from Mending Proliferation and Enveloping Mist is not static from the base. This means that if you have a 2K heal, it doesn’t become a +80% 3.6K heal; it becomes a +40% 2.8K heal that is then +40% again for a 3.9K heal. Multiplicative not additive.
- Vivify healing through Renewing Mists is affected by Mending Proliferation. Vivify modifiers are independent from each other. This is to say that, if you cast a Vivify on a target with Enveloping Mists, the Vivify heal through Renewing Mists is static, unless the target being healed via Renewing Mists is also affected by Enveloping Mists and/or Mending Proliferation. Crits are also independent. Clouded Focus increases the base healing, therefore its +% persists through Renewing Mists.
- Expel Harm talents are a bait for pvp. 70% increase @ 30% hp + 50% crit healing (2.25) = ~55K vs the Gusts of Mists that can crit for ~56K without 3(+1) talent point investment. Not to mention the Gusts of Mists from Expel Harm are also affected by Essence Font, for up to ~112K.
Old basic information for new mw’ers:
- Jade Serpent Statue doesn’t proc mastery gusts or Bountiful Brew.
- Uplifted Spirits is affected by crit Vivify through Renewing Mists.
- Mighty Ox Kick / disable , doesn’t deal damage so you can use them on a target you’ve Song of Chiji’d.
- Invoke Chiji, the Red Crane gusts count as mastery gusts so they’re still affected by Essence Font, Resplendent Mists, crits, and Bonedust Brew.
- Fistweaving works in 2s (as of writing this, the 2s r1 mw world is a fistweaver).
- Ancient Teachings only effects 1 target and is not a smart heal, meaning it can heal you at 90% instead of your ally @ 10%; although its per hit, so with the amount of hits on a Faeline, this is almost circumvented- but nevertheless hopefully blizzard buffs it to be more consistent in arena.
- Bonedust Brew copies of, let’s say Rising Sun Kick, damage do not proc Ancient Teaching’s healing.
Things to be tested in the future Sheilun’s patch:
- Is it nerfed in pvp?
- Is the +25% crit enough to consistently crit Vivify through Renewing Mists = -4s on Revival every cast through Uplifted Spirits? (with a base of 15% crit, 40% total)
- How will the 20% duplicate damage/healing function with Ancient Teachings?
- How will the 20% duplicate healing function with the new link to Tear of Morning?
There are a couple other things i might add later, that i’m forgetting. Still testing a few other things.
Hope this helps some of you.
