I got a couple of questions about leveling Allied Races. I got all the Horde ones and the two Ally ones I care about, Velf and Lightforged. But have a few questions.
Race & Class combos. Mostly asking for the occasional PvP match since PvE isn’t as intense while leveling. Also, summer’s heat is almost here so I need to be able to show some skin early and often.
Should I even bother with Professions? They’re fine until to hit WoD then they just exist as a time sink. I also already have alts with both gathering and crafting profs so I don’t really see the need to level them again.
Would it be “in poor taste” to have a Mag’har orc speak in Ebonics?
How do I make sense of the fact that they’d have to earn their own peoples’ trust and get them join the Horde/Ally after I’ve already done it which is why they’ve joined up and are now adventuring? Or is that all time travel stuff that’s either all a joke or none of it is?
I have no idea what you’re asking here. Summer’s heat? Show some skin? I guess pick a class that uses leather? Seems a bit contrary to your concern regarding racials, although they really are just minimal impacts on PVP anyway.
Always grab mining and herbalism on any toon you’re leveling. It greatly speeds up the process.
Of course it would…
You… don’t? Allied races can’t even do their racial unlock quest. It’s a one-off per account.
Also, going back in time to level isn’t canon. Every race has to do it, and obviously it would break lore for a character to have to choose between dealing with Arthas or Illidan because they just so happen to be invading at the same time, so you just kinda have to ignore the lore implications of what you’re doing until you get to the current expansion’s level bracket.
