Sure you don’t
Bc starts at 58 hard to grasp I know.
In a few weeks, no ones gonna be able to tell who boosted. Boosters will just have to weather the storm and spam ignore until then; there’s no way to reason with the kind of people promoting this type of discrimination, and most won’t cross the line blizzard has for chat abuse.
If you look at the rest of my post I say right there that skill level isn’t as relevant in Classic. Also, if it matters, that post was made under the assumption OP was talking about “boosts” as in paid carries, not a Blizzard-provided level boost. I still think Blizzard boosts are sketchy but that ship has sailed so whatever.
My personal feelings on skill in Classic is that its dungeon and raid boss encounters are as a whole more simplistic (which isn’t a bad thing, I might add — I think retail’s convoluted mechanics get in the way of the social component of dungeons/raids), but that the outdoor world takes a higher level of attentiveness, wider use of class abilities, and sharper spacial awareness. A level 15 trying to get through Classic Moonbrook without eating dirt too many times expends a good deal more mental effort than a 60 doing world stuff in retail does.
If boosts are what ruined retail wouldn’t that mean that retail was good until boosts were put in?
Actually, if you went out and bought the game in 2007 you would be starting at level 1. Hard to grasp I know. It’s almost like wow was an rpg or something.
The point went over your head. I played since day 1 I understand you started at lvl 1. But wrap that tiny brain around this logic. People would rather be able to jump right into the content they loved. Which was the dark portal a single boosted toon doesnt ruin anything. Also it takes like 10mins to figure out how to play any class.
I think anyone who mains a rogue has some level of personality defect.
Oh does it? That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. There are people who level from 1 to 60 and don’t know how to play their class.
I really don’t care what people would rather do. If you want to play BC then you should hit up some friends, grab a beer and invest some time leveling the characters you’re going to be playing. Blizzard could have given people a reason to hop into the game early and start playing. Instead they destroyed leveling.
They didnt destory leveling. If you cant figure out your class in 10mins or 1 hour that’s on you. It seems like you are prolly looking in a mirror when saying that. Do you need some one to explain to you how your buttons work? Sorry but pushing buttons isnt hard in TBC hunters have a 1 button rotation as an example. Also TBC leveling starts at get this 58. To bad people dont want to do the classic leveling hence why they didnt play classic.
You’re trying to compare war to a game’s community. It’s one sided, y’all are the ones with the problem, plus you’re the minority and don’t have anything valid to back your reasons up that aren’t personal. Boosts don’t affect you in anyway, shape or form if you aren’t using one. Why does everyone need to experience the game the way YOU and other purists experience the game? Answer that one.
To better explain why think of it like this…
you plan on what job you would love to have. you go to collage for 2 years. yeah it was not fun most the time felt a little boring, but you made a few lifetime friends along the way. you finally graduate (hit 60). but that’s not enough you want to better yourself so you work extra overtime and schooling to better yourself further. (raid gear and pvp). ready for promotion you earned. (bcc release)…
All of a sudden a person walks in wants to talk to the boss and you overhear the convo he/she says. Id like to start working on this day with no collage or effort because it takes to long and I want to earn everything now. ill pay you whatever. then BOOOSted…
they show up in there new company truck and come sit by you in work and say… “why you mad bro” lol
this is why people are upset over payed cash boost. bliz should of made a separate server for boost in my option would of saved all this drama and hate
Yeah they did. As soon as they lift the 1 boost per account cap (and you can bet your sweet a**cheeks they will) the world will be empty. Just like it is in retail.
Oh ya? The burning crusade zones wong be empty which in “THE BURNING CRUSADE” That’s where the world matters not the old zones besides very few that require you to be close to 70 to even care about.
I hope they remove the 1 per because that would again benefit TBCC even more.
The analogies today… comparing work to a game. I get it, it can work… but this one, is absolutely ridiculous.
It’s going to be empty anyway… who are you trying to kid? Outside of the major city hubs… what reason is there to be in the old world?
Yeah let’s just delete the old world
Didnt say that, plus that wont happen until cata classic. I am pointing out that the old world doesnt matter that’s how expansion always work. Wotlk. Outland doesnt matter. Cata Northrend doesnt matter. MoP cata zones dont matter. It’s like you’ve never seen an expansion before.
Kind of circular logic with your argument, and the argument of other people.
“Leveling is important to learn your class.”
“You can learn it in 10 minutes.”
“pEoPlE lEvElEd NoRmAlLy AnD sTiLl DoN’t KnOw HoW tO pLaY.”
So then it’s a player issue, not a circumstance issue. How do you fix that? Teach them how to play.
They dont get it. They are just following what they were told.
