Som PVP is truely DED

When the wpvp in som dies and not even the bots are staying u know its DED.

When u step away from this game and come back im not even entertained for a second.

I spent 20 minutes going up and down stv on my alt looking for Wpvp nothing…Its DED

ill be back for wotlk classic but for now SOM is DED DED DED

this is why i was so against som a lot of us just knew what was going to happen
and i now dont think classic anything will ever stand a chance because they will now point to some and say you think you do but you don’t

we as a community dun mest up by accepting som

Well it was “dead” from the get go already not sure how it takes so long to realize? It’s a failed project and wasted ressources. Some like it though I don’t judge them but this whole thing has no future.

That feeling when you grind rank 14 to go crush levelers in STV only to realize that it won’t be happening.

Forget wpvp, there isn’t a single AV running outside AV weekend.

It’s over boys and girls.

Instead of another seasonal server, perhaps the next project can be Phase 7.

I’m still playing SoM and having fun.
Plenty of people are around.
Lots of anticipation for AQ.
In short: cry more, haters.

You would be saying this regardless of the current status

But the thing is, no matter how much you white Knight and say som is doing great, we can simply pull up the logs of som and see it is a catastrophic deadzone.

I woke up to a discord screenshot yesterday showing zero active BG ques. Many went to the fresh wrath pserver, as it is a very good one. Others are going back to tbc.

I don’t want to beat a dead horse but I hate to say I told you so.

Som failed because they interfered with classic ecosystem. The only changes that will ever work for this version of the game is to add new phases. Absolutely nothing you do to “change” the base game will work

If BGs are all you give a crap about then yeah maybe a different version is better for you. I’ve always been more into the PvE side of things, and alliance side raiding guilds are all doing great, along with lots of pug raids even. If SoM becomes unplayable due to low population, I’ll be the first to admit it. It’s fine currently.

I like to raid, but I like reasons to not die in raids and I like the world pvp that comes before it. That doesn’t exist on som because dying doesn’t matter and no one wpvps against guilds in the mountain because there is no reason to.

Again my post is about BG’s and Wpvp in som being DED. im on jom the most pop server and ITS DED.

Whens wrath dropping btw?

It already did

i don’t care what your experience is like as long as mine’s good, tbh. /shrug

My motivation not to die in raids is to avoid being one of the doofuses that needs to get rezzed after the battle is over. I don’t need cheesy world buffs to give me motivation not to die.

That’s fine for you since this is your first go around with classic as you stated you didn’t play original classic. I and many others like further reason and purpose aside from “avoiding that rez”. Buffs and scarcity add a source of value to the game. There is no scarcity because som made consumables the end all be all and the iron rule as well as making them easier to get
