THIEF! is a debuff so once you pick pocket a certain amount of mobs in a dungeon the rest will hide their loot. While this is an attempt to stop bots from produce massive amounts of raw gold, it’s a huge nerf for the everyday rogue that would use this to farm some gold, and Blinding Powder.
This is a very rogue-centric, class flavor, farm style, and such a bummer their nerfing in this manner. I pick pocketed weekly because it’s fun, apart of my class (just like a lock farms soul shards), and it resulted in never having to buy Blinding Powder or Fadeleaf off the AH, or leveling herbalism to farm Fadeleaf.

Please increase the drop rate to Blinding Powdering in boxes if you’re going through with this change to pick pocketing.

Since you’re here consider rallying behind the BuffMemes hashtag. Meme specs do 50-60% less than Meta Spec and would use some simple basic tweaks to be brought up to 25-30% under Meta.
Move the +hit talents down to tier 1, and increase how much hit they provide. (ie. 3 hit to 6 hit)
Classes that do not have +spell hit, bake it into lower tier 1 talents. (moonkin, smite, ele)
Spirit = spell hit, melee hit. So if they’re in T1 they’ll have hit utilizing the 100-120 spirit on the gear.
Not a rogue and don’t play one but the OP is correct in labeling this as a nerf to their class.
Nothing wrong with bringing this to the attention of other players and express dissatisfaction to Blizz.
Cmon Blizz. This seems to be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Please target the bots not a behavior that is common to all playing the class.
Blinding powder takes time or gold to acquire. You don’t see a mage nerf that if you kill too many birds that light feathers stop dropping for slow fall.
Not mad, cuz i’m not thin skinned like you homie. And yes, seeking attention for the class not myself. This is a 25g per hour gold farm, and selling the blinding powder is another 10-30g depending upon the economy. So yeah, it’s kind of annoying to lose a 55g per hour gold farm, or Blinding Powder farm because of Bots.

pretty much this. Many rogues enjoy farming their Blinding Powder like a rogue instead of like an herbalist.
From wowhead, they got it around 10 pockets deep, so pretty quickly, especially for BRD. The garrison itself on a good spawn will have about 8 mobs to pocket before you even turn the lock to the door to give access to upper BRD which houses the bar and vendors. Even if you got it 30 pockets deep, thats not even half the arena. The entire route is garrison, little chill area, half arena, to boss that drops fire enchant, half arena, highway to rock boss, repeat. Were talking almost about 150 mobs for a single route, and if this debuff procs 10 in, the farm is dead.
Good news, it supposedly doesn’t affect LBRS. Bad news, LBRS is higher mobs, trash route, and no vendor.
Lock Mara, hunter DMT solo, while we’re at it let’s nerf jump runs. Let’s try to make the only way to farm gold is picking flowers and ore. THE GAME MUST BE FAIR
