Now people are gonna feel it. BWL already coming out early February. It would have been completely fine if we just had fresh vanilla servers, which are 2 years in length instead of this “SoM” stupidity. Vanilla is just not meant to be fast paced. The whole point of it is the opposite… its supposed to be something you enjoy slowly, or sweat it out if you want.

agree. they didn’t need to do these dumb changes. Just tweak the base game a bit. I agreed with the boosting changes, the black lotus changes but they didn’t need to do all this nonsense. Classic is a game for dads who wanna chill with the bois and not be rushed. 18-24 month cadence is fine. Let people get world buffs if they want. Leave chronoboons in to avoid the toxicity. Ez game, free money. SoM is a meme

Code is already written, game is mostly polished. Trust me, I’m a full blown addict. I know some of these degenerates would keep playing a fresh reset each time it came out just like I would.

dude, i know you sit here all day and troll these forums, but ill bite anyway. I am semi-hardcore, and I mean it, because I got to 60 in a week. I also got rank 14 in classic last year. Even for me this is way too fast. I am not having fun because I feel rushed constantly… how can I enjoy MC and world PvP when I have to rank asap, when BWL is coming out in feb… Also being forced to AV rank is pretty horrible.
If you feel like SoM is too fast, you are missing the point of SoM.
I know what the point of SoM is, I just think its a horrible idea and no one asked for it. We wanted a fresh vanilla server, that is all.

This literally never ends. There will always always always be people asking for new vanilla servers. Either they leave a massive trail of dead servers as they keep caving to demands for “fresh” or they do SoM. I think they made the right call.
What? SoM is the same thing as a fresh vanilla server, what are you on about? The only difference is its 1 year. Vanilla servers need to be 2 years.
I’m not trying to say your opinion is invalid, but I think everyone knows that within 1 year people would be demanding “fresh” server(s). Two years is a long time. Two years leaves people getting sick of the current raid tier and tapping their foot waiting for the next phase.
The only difference is, there are no dead servers left behind screaming for merges/transfers/fresh servers.
I play the perfect amount and enjoy every second of it.
it’s going to be fun to have people stuck in bosses of different tiers, also I don’t understand how can you do the same raid over and over and over again for 3 months-4 months, being able to chose from multiple raid tiers before it becomes pointless sounds fun to me.
