Any plans restricting mining nodes on dire maul East ?
why would they… ?
Any plans to make the right strafe button only work for Taurens?
They fixed mage farming, they fixed hunter farming, now they’re fixing dire maul farming.
IMO they should just remove the herbs and mining nodes from dire maul east.
why tho X_X ?
i mean, they should do something like Tavarok on Mana Tombs that you could only mine from it a few times per day.
Just remove everything, can’t exploit an endless void.
Or can you
If you were fine with them destroying hunter/mage/rogue farms then you shouldn’t complain when inevitably your farm gets nerfed.
Humans are so short-sighted, they champion that the guy in front of them gets a bullet to the head while being completely unaware they are next in line.
You have an absolutely delusional perspective you project on people. The point you think you’re making aint there buddy.
WhY WONT ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE FARM IS BEING NERFED WTF WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT!?
Because bots and gold farmers can reset the dungeon for infinite herbs and raw gold, just like how mages, rogues, hunters did.
At the start of classic there were thousands of bots in the open world anyway. Nerfing every instance farm will do absolutely nothing to impact Botting while blizzard continues to take no action against bots themselves outside of token efforts to pretend they are trying to do something.
Wrong.
No there wern’t.
Unless the open world bot was teleporting, no, there were no open world bots, they die instantly, they can be messed with, people can kill them, they can mass report them, all you people claiming open world bots are the real problem and that instance bots are fine are lying and completely full of it.
The only time I saw bots in the open world in classic was black lotus teleport bots and hunter bots in silithus at the start of classic, there is absolutely zero bots running around herbing like a normal player would, if you think this is the case you’re a moron, bots hide in instances where they can neither be reported and can’t be ganked.
There is 0 bots now because they are in instances. Before that they were in the open world. You clearly didn’t play a lot of classic if you didn’t see any open world bots. Or you started at the end of the life cycle.
If blizzard continues to nerf instance farms to the point that none are leftover, guess where the bots will go? Do you think they will vanish? No, they will go back to how they were at the start of classic. Out in the open farming whatever they want, because blizzard doesn’t do a dam thing to stop them.
Anyone that says otherwise is just flat out trolling or lying. Botting is the real issue, not instance farms. Nerfing instance farms will not do a thing to impact bots. The only way bots will stop is if blizzard makes them unprofitable, by banning them before they can make enough gold to be worth them making an account in the first place.
This means blizzard needs to get off their behinds and hire more employees to monitor bots. Not slowly “monitor” these bots and nerf farms. If a bot makes $1 more than their sub fee before they get banned guess what? The person running that bot will make more or these in bulk.
The only action that will impact Botting is banning them swiftly.
I played ALOT of classic, like I said, the only open world bots were silithus hunter bots and teleport hacking bots.
There are ZERO bots running around on the ground picking up herbs, ZERO.
I know there are alot of morons out there who consider any other player they encounter picking herbs to be a bot, but that is not the case, again, bots do not survive open world, they are subject to mass reporting and ganking to often to even consider being feasible, please come back when you get some brain cells.
Did you not read what I typed? There are no open world bots because they are in instances. If they need every instance farm, the bots will go out into the open again. Nerfing instance farms will not impact the amount of bots in any way shape or form. They make more gph in instances and that’s why they are there. But nerfing these farms does nothing to cull their numbers.
The only thing to cull their numbers is to ban them before they are profitable. Which they are not doing, so they themselves can profit off their sub fees.
bots in instances all use flyhacks and teleports… nerfing these farms just makes gold buying even more appealing for the average player.
Simple fix.
Remove the herbs and mining nodes from Dire Maul: East.
No one that runs the dungeon for legit reasons give a single crap about if herbs or mine nodes are in the dungeon, the only people that want herbs and mining nodes in DM:E are exploiters.
There were never any black lotus “bots” lmao. The hunter “bots” you think you see are just tism’ lotus farmers scouting the lotus on 8 hunter accounts spam eagle eyeing the spawns or leaving corpses on the spawn points. That’s a good paying customer
This is correct. Blizzard gets to report their numbers as subs to the shareholders, so there’s very little incentive to ban. The bans literally devalue the company.
