(SOM Classic) Is Verigan's Fist actually worth the time and effort?

Basically what I put in the subject. Would I be better off just using a green or buy a blue item for a reasonable price rather than trying to scrounge together dungeon groups to complete this quest? Thanks in advance.

It’s not a bad little weapon, and if you can get it early it will last for a while. But it’s all really up to you, because if you can’t get a group together for it, you’ll have to try to solo it, which is possible, but you most likely won’t be able to get it right at level 20.
