Decay is honestly horrendous to the point you must eleminate real life responsabilities in order to go after it, its just completely insane, id rather have a long enormous but able to do in my time grind than the current system that literally demands you to be a vagabond and a robot lol.

Removing decay is going full retail.
They should not change the ranking system, it is fine the way it is - doesn’t need to be easier or harder.
Edit: The same people that want to remove decay are those that break cc, fight mid, don’t consume, and then wonder why they can’t get into any teams.

I think the honor system should stay as it was.
Classic wasn’t designed for everyone to get everything like tourists who pay a sub and get whatever is in the game.
R11+ is meant to be hard to get, the gear is on par with mid-game raid loot for doing not much more than grinding BGs. In this era of WoW you are supposed to go out and earn the stuff you want, no gimmicks were put in the game to hand it to you.
I don’t have the time to grind past maybe R10 and am totally cool with that. I would rather there be zero chance for me than see 50% of players walking around in R14 gear. We already did that on retail “vanilla” (late 2006) waiting for TBC and it was stupid.

If they are making changes I hope they retain the ranks in some manner. The idea of being rewarded by your factions military for service is a lot more engaging for a role playing game than just collecting bg and arena points. I personally don’t think it’s that big of a deal as is, the full blue set is a bit of a grind but not undoable for a lot of people and like the person above said r11-14 should be rare and difficult.

I had some time today and found the “leaks” that this is referring to.
For what it’s worth it does look like they are probably totally fake. Some dates have come and gone, and most of the video is about a Wrath Ulduar nerf that never happened.

Going full retial would be having a rating system, so no.
It is a bunch of very outdated gear at this point. Decay is literally the epytome of neckbeardness lol.
