“When you walk among the black forest you’ll see” I stopped to check Wowhead for something tabbed out and this phrase was spoken to me but It doesn’t show up in the chat log and I can’t find any information online about it, it doesn’t sound like usual old god whispering from quests or zones I’ve ever heard am i going mad or is there something else going on, solved it seems Xal’atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl I was using this axe as a transmog

Sometimes addons do this. They usually leave zero trace in the chat.
Otherwise, it could be an item like Xal’atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl
I found out that dang weapon talked by accident. Scared the beejeezus out of me lol

Do you have the Dragonwrath staff from Cata? I know Teragossa speaks every now and then. Same as the priest dagger from legion
That is a line from:
It will occasionally whisper things to you when you kill mobs or are killed yourself. These won’t show in your chat log. This happens even if it’s a different weapon transmogged into Xal’atoh’s appearance.
