Hey all,
So I decided I wanted the Brewmaster artifact for my monk. So I started the Legion questline through the quest board in Stormwind.
Elected to redo the questline instead of skip it (I like the questline), and got all the way to speaking to the demon hunters in the Mage Quarter (I believe this is where In The Blink of an Eye starts). I accepted the quest.
After researching, here is where I think I messed up: I accidentally used the Dalaran Hearthstone from The Harbinger quest and hearthed to New Dalaran. There was an NPC there that allowed me to turn the quest in. I got the grey tomes as a quest reward and everything. HOWEVER, I never saw the teleport scene when the Legion ships attack.
I used a run script feature and was able to confirm that the quest In The Blink of an Eye is flagged as completed. I even went to the NPC in New Dalaran in the Violet Citadel (a blood elf) and did the prior quests. But no matter what I do, the NPC will not spawn in New Dalaran. Old Dalaran in Karazhan is gone (flew there to confirm).
I am at a complete loss. It doesn’t even look like I can complete any of the Legion quests at this point. Any help would be amazing.
EDIT: Even the Magic Message quest isn’t there to start the Suramar questline, though the “!” quest icon is showing on my minimap.
UPDATE: So the NPC appeared after I completed The Harbinger questline. Not sure if that did it, or maybe just waiting for him to appear did it, but he appeared.
