…and I reckon I’ve tried just about everything:
- Reset the UI (deleted Cache, WTF and Interface folders).
- Deleted the Utils folder.
- Confirmed AVG Firewall is permitting the traffic. (Wow has open slather to send/receive at the moment on all ports).
- Confirmed by broadband modem is permitting the traffic. (Wow has open slather to send/receive at the moment on all ports).
- Disabled every single program automatically starting up, rebooted PC, still no go (this also meant that AVG wasn’t running at all during this attempt).
- Confirmed no parental controls are active.
- Updated video drivers.
- Ran virus scan. No malware found.
- Removed launcher (including battlenet directory manual removal) and reinstalled.
- Ran Wow.exe as administrator.
- Ran launcher as administrator.
- Left screen open for 10 minutes to see if it were just incredibly slow.
- Confirmed no programs by Razer are installed/running.
This is all on a brand new Battlenet and Wow account just made today, and to be honest, if I can’t get this store working, I need to get a refund, cause use of the shop was part of my plan in playing Wow Shadowlands.
Edit: The following day, with no further changes made by me, the shop started working. Maybe some undisclosed “time out” for new accounts? Anyway, it’s working now.
