New graphics card, new Windows install. WoW will not launch correctly. When I press Play I get a black screen and when I click, I get a “World of Warcraft is not responding” dialog box. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling all Blizzard products. Other games (Fallout 4, MTGA) work fine.
edit: SOLVED. Just added -d3d11 to the command line arguments in the b dot net launcher.
Which graphics card? if it’s an AMD, you’ll want the new preview driver. DX11 is ok, but it won’t look as nice as DX12 and will use more CPU resources to compensate.

Honestly after the last update they did and this happened with the AMD cards, once it says program not responding, just click wait for program to respond, walk away for like 5 mins and it’ll load up just fine after that. Can confirm, I just updated my drivers and used this method without adding the -d3d11 to the command line mumbo jumbo.
