[SOLVED] Can't cast Bag of Tricks and Crimson Vial together

On my vulpera priest, I made a macro to cast Desperate Prayer and Bag of Tricks on myself as a double heal. However, using a similar macro on my rogue, I’m unable to cast Crimson Vial and Bag of Tricks together.

I am able to cast both spells simultaneously with another instant, off GCD ability, such as Symbols of Death, but they cannot be cast together. Whichever spell is listed first will be cast, and the other ignored.

Here is an example of macroing the two abilities together:

/cast Crimson Vial
/cast Bag of Tricks

Using this macro while targeting myself, I will cast Crimson Vial, and Bag of Tricks will not be cast. Pressing it again, while Crimson Vial is on CD, nothing happens, and Bag of Tricks remains unused.

Am I missing something here, or is there some strange interaction between these abilities that is incorrect?

Crimson Vial has a GCD of 1 second
bag of tricks has a GCD of 1.5 seconds
Desperate prayer is not on the GCD

I double checked the timings on WoWhead

Oh! I wasn’t even aware there were variable GCDs. Thought it was either on or off. Thank you for looking into this. Very good to know.
