It’s like leveling to ten, it’s like finishing a dungeon for the first time in Mists leveling. It’s an advancemetn of your character. Instead of gate keeping what is and is not worthy of respect why not lift up other players at whatever level they are at?
It may not be YOUR progression and that’s fine, you’ve progressed PASSED that point, but everyone is at a different stage of the game, and we should support where they are at and and lift htem up instead of laughing at them and mocking their level of game coimpletion.
What do you get out of not calling it progression, how does it hurt you if someone else considers an earleir form of the game progression?

Ah yes, you are the bastion of morality, that’s why you’re insinuating anyone who raids anything above LFR level is toxic.
People can not want certain rewards available at lower difficulties so the reward incentives people to play the game mode they want. People who PUG normal would be helped by keeping the mount as is because more players would engage in normal for the reward. It’s not just because they want you to feel bad because you can’t get something.
Obviously, you do since you don’t want to PUG normal.
Putting it in normal would increase normal participation and help that portion of the player base have a better PUG experience. It doesn’t need to be a toxic gatekeeping thing about people not being worthy or whatever, but there is a cost to it being in LFR and not normal.
Its too late though they let the cat out of the bag …that is what upset player base they list one thing then turn around and say another thing…

That’s it. This is the only solution. It’s an end of the expansion reward for doing ALL of the bosses.

There really is no good reason not to let people get the mount by killing LFR bosses. Rather selfish and quite frankly childish to argue otherwise. It’s not like finishing it on normal holds any prestige and no one seems to have an issue with that…

Grey is kind of ugly.
I have been reading these for the past several days and now have few things to add.
First, I like having four colors of the mount one for each difficulty this way at least everyone has a chance to obtain it since casual/solo players are not getting anything when we usually do get a few things around this time.
Second, to those saying just pug or make group on normal you don’t know what that player is like emotionally maybe they have an anxiety around groups of people or in game in dungeons and such when to them lfr is all they can stand. Plus, many players don’t want to deal with the stress from normal since that is where the toxicity begins.
Third, putting it in normal isn’t going to force a player who doesn’t want to raid all of a sudden say golly gee I better go get yelled at and stressed out in normal for a mount. No, they are going to say screw it and screw the elitists trying to gatekeep the mount from the rest of the player base.
Blizzard has once again spat in the face of casual/solo players and with Dragon riding already being nerfed they are showing what many have already knew that they never listen or even cared to.

And you seem to be stuck in a universe where you can’t understand that the issue is that Blizzard did a bait and switch. If the achieve had always said “normal or higher” very few people would be complaining. It’s not “inaccurate achievement wording,” it’s pure bad faith on Blizzard’s part. They had plenty of time from the moment the achieve came out to fix it, and they didn’t.
I personally don’t give a flying fig about the mount, but I do care how Blizzard constantly seems to be pulling the rug out from under folks by changing things for no particular reason other than to make the rewards more “exclusive.” The more you exclude players from content, the more players you lose. This is not the way to grow a player base. More than anything, moves like this are what is killing this game.

The mount achievement has said “all difficulties” on PTR for months and still says so on live servers right now. You can literally look it up and find it. Considering that “all difficulties” would include LFR and normal, that is far from being a “prestige” reward.

This is utterly false. Sure, some very few players may go ahead and pug normal for the mount, but the majority of players who don’t do normal or higher simply won’t bother. It’s like raiders can’t get it through their heads that some people simply don’t like the normal and higher raiding experience. Period. No matter what rewards you give for it.

You can beat LFR while AFK.
This is why in my opinion it doesnt deserve any rewards.
Unless, they bring back Nzoth or U’unat LFR…

Blizzard is going host all these friendship runs by dedicating employees to getting players mounts!
I’ve never really understood the people screeching about how “you can beat LFR while AFK”. Can some people go afk while everyone else does the fight, yes - will they probably be kicked after that - also yes. But by saying “you can beat LFR while AFK” implies that 25 people can enter LFR, stand there AFK and do nothing then get rewarded for it- which doesn’t happen.

Then I want to see you go into an LFR and your whole group just afk’s the whole thing then come back here to report what rewards you all get.
Wait I already know the answer is nothing matter of fact no bosses or mobs will be killed as you are all AFK doing nothing.
