But I also like the idea of making 3 DPS work somehow (lol) since Blizzard is dead opposed to letting randos queue into premades for PvP. Why not just make a -50% damage aura for triple DPS matches? Itâll prevent death via 1 global and give them time to activate defensives, kite, or retaliate.
DPS should Q for shuffle in groups of two.
Each group of two plays with each healer once.
Then go next.
From a healer perspective this would be better because DPS would be in workable comps and maybe coordinating a bit more (which is kind of what makes healing shuffle so stressfull or w/e)
so you want to rework the entire game to make a sub game within a sub game work ? everyone knew going in rss was going to be a fiesta because wow is so comp dependent⌠its ease of access siphoned almost all casual/new/low rated players out of LFG which hurt an already struggling LFG system⌠they need to rework rewards and separate rss and 3v3 rewards, and then rework the lfg system⌠if you arent pushing for glad you can get everything you want in rss which is giga inflated. they already gutted elite sets taking all prestige from themâŚ
RSS should be the entry pvp format where you learn to play 3v3 and make some gold and get some old pvp gear with updated models like they did for mage tower and keep the duelist glad rank 1 titles, mogs, mounts, wep enchants, and tabards in 3v3

My casual thought for 3dps queues is just dampening for damage rather than only heals (and not have it change during the match). Not sure if that is remaking the game.
Interesting idea. Thatâd be more in line with what the community was seemingly asking out of solo queue, though comp issues might be a problem there, and youâd be put more at risk by happening to get bad people in your group. I do think itâd⌠maybe? promote healthier forms of communication⌠Or people would just blame the healer for their loss every time and not the fact they werenât in voice / randos. Interesting thought though, and far more realistic than the people wanting 3v3 dps.

Fully agree on this. Separate mogs would give reason to queue the real bracket instead of just solo shuffle.
Yeahhhh 1800, on top of uber inflation makes it where even if a set did look awesome, Iâd probably stick to my old sets over it on chars that had them⌠Though my old mogs look bawler since I was grinding them during legion.
I think baseline the rating requirements on rewards in solo shuffle should be bare minimum 200 more than normal arena if itâs to stay the same as it currently is. Itâs weird that the more skillful game mode basically gets kinda hosed on ease of access to rewards, though it does get the benefit of the glad mount.
I think it will make the healer experience better. And then more healers likely to Q?
What skill is removed in an all dps match ? You still need to line your defensive, you still need to set up for kill, you still need to pressure.
The big difference is that itâs less forgiving because no one will top your hp if anything goes wrong.
It would be a format where you need to kill all opponents (not just one like RSS is), so each team could zogzog on the lowest target, they still have to survive after. So it would require to donât always press all cd on start, still running kiting, pillar hugging, whatever you want to call skill.
But please provide us a deep explanation about the skill removal, iâm curious about what i donât get ? (espcially because i only proposed that for 1800 and lower, where skill isnât required that muchâŚ)

Unlike DPS, healers did not get the 25% stat trinket bonus.
Because for 10 rounds, the squishiest DPS in the all-DPS lobby will be screaming in fear as they run around for dear life.
Queues got marginally better this week as I just decided to call it quits.
I am done with it until there is a better system in place.

I am bad and there is no environment for me to get reps in and if you 80% of your playtime window is not playing the game.
The concept is great but you just replaced the toxic social interaction of finding people with a wait that is as painful.

The results probably wonât be much better for healers. Theyâll get a bunch of 1-1 and 0 rating games.
RSS would focus on finding superior DPS comps (e.g. rogue/mage, mage/lock, etc.). DPS specs that donât have good comps will have a harder time participating and theyâll likely drop down the ladder.
lol⌠with no healer you train someone through the ground, and either hard swap when they pop defensives, or just plow through those defensives. No heals means full on zugging, which happens even with healers, and would be far worse without them.
It makes skill less relevant because who gets trained just would depend on the quality of their defensives. If a class had a full immune, theyâd probably get ignored in favor of just plowing over someone who didnât.

Only the person being targeted, and in reality, theyâd be dead before they could do any of that.
The 1800 and lower makes it a less egregious suggestion admittedly, but with damage the way it is, 3 dps itâd be someone getting globaled every single time. DPS donât see that because they arenât the ones stuck babysitting peopleâs health pools, and when they die, they just blame a faulty healer, but damage is whacky right now (recurring theme). Triple DPS adds to that whackiness. Hypothetically 2v2 solo shuffle would be better, but in the end that adds to class favoritism. Some dps are just healer reliant to perform. Itâd either end up with people randomly dying without skill being shown, or with the weakest class defensively dying every time without skill being shown.

We are in sync on the âbad ppl will press all buttons to train the lowest opponentâ but thatâs why i also said, that to win it would be required to kill all opponents.
That would make the zugzug tactic slightly less relevant, because using cds to burst a âlow defenseâ opponent means you wonât have them for at least 1 min vs the sturdy one.
I donât think it would be as bad as you see it
