Tired of that tailor trainer saying you cannot make a flying carpet unless you are level 25 to learn about bolt of imbued frostweave…? Do you find making clothes irritable cause it takes too much inventory…?
Well Ill be glad to inform you a great life hack in world of Warcraft about leveling your northrend tailoring. What you need to do is go to the your main faction base …which I (hope ogrimmar has a first aid healer.) you go to cathedral and find the first aid kit trainer she trains you frostweave bandages and upon making those you will be able to get up to level 25 then you will finally be able to make bolt of imbued frostweave.
Haven’t tested myself, but this is pretty neat. I hadn’t thought of the implications of sliding first aid into tailoring. (My only tailor is one of my bank alts who used AH wheeling and dealing for mats to max professions.) Also if you want a flying carpet that doesn’t require tailoring to use, you can grind one off nightborne paragon and emissary chests in Legion. I think blizz greatly increased the occurrence of legion mount drops in chests, but still a hefty grind if you weren’t playing legion when it was current.
Pretty easy thing to miss, tbh.
Making bandages is pretty much the way to get a solid footing in tailoring. It’s much less resource intensive, and provides a decent return on your skill levels. This is much less powerful after Pandaria and WoD, though it’s still useful.
Edit: There, posted with the right character this time. Jeez. Val was my alt, sorry!
