It’s no secret anymore blizzard made this season for the top 10% of players. The dungeon tuning is so bad that you get one shot from trash on a +5 being 619 ilv. Healers just quit the game or rerolled a frost DK. The 10% say that everyone should just “git gud” and the average player is paying a subscription for the 10% play. Well, even them are protesting now, so, the season of the top 10 just became the season of no one. There’s tons of posts suggesting solutions but I have the better solution yet: if you are hard stuck on a given content because blizz can’t design a minimal good progression/reward system, just cancel your subscription, since you have no more content to do, and let them figure it out.

Can you name a single trash ability that will one shot a player at 619 item level? Quite literally the only ability that one-shot me in a +10 Dawnbreaker over the weekend I ran at 615 item level was the beam on the first boss. Yes, the tuning is bad; but flat out lying doesn’t help your argument in the slightest.

Hardly run M+ with them tho. Honestly I’ve been enjoying healing 7s - we’ll see if that changes next week when I go into 8s

I heal on my shaman from time to time , id prefer to tank though , im too busy doing other things to bother trying to pug m+ . If i can find a dedicated group for keys ill do some, i havent been actively looking though so i guess thats my fault. Im sure ill dabble in keys towards the end of the season when i finish treasure hunting achievements, and renown grinding. M+ isnt bad , ifs just delves are better right now .

I’m okay better players doing harder content.
I only want currency from content to upgrade gear, rewarded from said content.

I used to think things were massively over tuned as well until my homie started timing 10s on his bear druid under 600 ilvl. He says the key (no pun intended) is to just know what every mob and mechanic are in the content you’re doing. Which isn’t a super hard ask of the player if we are being honest.

I jumped into a +8 Grim Batol this week as prot after playing fury all season and not really tanking in the past 2 xpacs and I don’t think I died once… Just rolled my face on the keyboard real good. I don’t think people who press buttons are getting 1 shot.

M+ is actually not designed for anyone.
Do you think good players want to assign 4 interrupts for modern Amarth?
Or 8 kicks for the pull next to the second transponder in CoT?
Cuz we don’t.
Blizzard showed their hand when developing D3:
When they think something is hard enough, they add another layer of difficulty because the players will always trivialize whatever the devs come up with.
That’s directly out of the Blizzard playbook.
So let’s call the issue what it is for starters.
