there is a difference between “pvp” and “i can’t even leave my city and doing anything”. which is what was happening on quite a few pvp servers.
at least horde could still do AV and win quite a bit with premades going on.
That option is avaliable to any ranged dps. Regardless of faction.
And you can still make a group in Ironforge(much like you do for Av) and do the same. Thats no faction specific.

shows what you know. safespotting. was against the rules of the game. that is why the guards were buffed. because classic has little to no GM support, therefore to enforce the rules, the guards were buffed against safespotting. which again, was a breech of the rules of the game.

more numbers is an advantage in pvp. and since you are required to leave IF to do anything beyond buy/sell/repair or BGs…
well if you want to make money, or raid, or do dungeons, you are at the mercy of the horde. which can still abuse the numbers they have.

Phase 2 as Alliance on a Horde dominated server was my favorite part of Classic so far. I only wish it had lasted longer.

Just because alliance life was WORSE than horde life, doesn’t mean horde life was perfect and wonderful and we never got ganked at all. It was still pretty ridiculous.

I want things to be EQUAL holy.
But what I’m seeing is alliance had issues and cried out for something to be done. something got done about it. bgs were released earlier than originally announced.
Horde had issues with AV and cried out for something to be done. something has now been done about it. This back and forth crap is out of control. once horde gets one thing their way the alliance go " Well we want something now too".
Then when alliance gets one thing their way the horde go “well we now want something too.”
When does it stop??? will it ever stop?
there has to be an END to this at some stage.
I would much prefer blizzard to spend a few weeks sorting out everything that SHOULD be done, and do it. Fix issues, make things more balanced for BOTH factions.

Just no. Faction transfers weren’t apart of vanilla so they should not be apart of classic. Even if blizz allows faction changes it won’t make a difference, look at retail and the issues they are having. The population imbalance is too big to make any meaningful changes now, they should have made contingencies at the beginning of classic to stop imbalance.
I have in another thread about the honor DR going to 10%. its not fair for alliance
but is anything being done about the actual world pvp issues? no. they just gave them options outside of world pvp. you still have the ACTUAL world pvp ISSUES.
meanwhile the horde actual issues AV got taken care of.
they didn’t just “oh were going to release another BG so you can do that”.
yeah it should have started and ended at “This is vanilla”.
