Yep, server shutdown was midway through Solos, and I lose 150 points. No one else it seems.

Call me paranoid, but I tend to avoid queuing around a time that Blizzard has been resetting the servers for two decades.

Am I reading that we queued for solo shuffle during a period under which the servers were scheduled to go down as they have every Tuesday for the past few decades

Risking match losses is one thing.
Being made a deserter is another.

its my first time doing solos around the time of server shutdown
figured itd just end the match, not make one of us a deserter like russian roulette
On a side note, the Francis Scott Key Bridge is also out as well. I don’t want anyone to drive into the harbor in the event that they didn’t read signs, billboards, news, the internet, memes, gifs or anything else that would inform them of this development.

How do you know you lost 150 server shuts down and you cant get back in?
Just before the shutdown, it ended the match and displayed the results for 2secs. I saw that I lost 150 points, then went to check-pvp to confirm it.
This is on my alt, btw… not this guy.
What it seems to me is that at the moment of Server Shutdown the first person who is disconnected is made a deserter, which triggers the end match event. They could have written it another way to avoid this.
ohh ok because when i was in there at reset the game just shuts off i dont see screens, thats odd. Kepp your head up broski

The real question is, does everyone lose 150 rating, or is it just one unlucky one?

The server should stop accepting queues by the time the Server Shutdown and max Solo Shuffle time reach the same time, or just not make you lose rating.

730Hrs in a month. You’re losing like 0.07 Cents due to maintenance, something that has to happen.
