I feel like at this point all content in BFA and Legion should be soloable at level 50. I recently did the WoD Raids for the very first time. If not for the fact I was level 50 at the time, I probably wouldn’t have been able to do them ever.
Island Expeditions should have been soloable a long time ago. Remove the Elite status of all creatures, nerf all mobs and buff chars during Island Expeditions (and Torghast after DF is released).
This is also a good time to introduce the option of skipping dungeons for quest chains in ALL legacy content (not just BFA’s in regards to the Allied Races). Again, the only reason I recently completed the Paladin Order Hall campaign for the very first time is because I was level 50 when I went back and did it.
Another thing that’s pretty annoying for me personally is Dungeon Finder for 10-50 only offers BFA Dungeons even when doing Timewalking Campaigns. How about setting it so at the very least you can either que ALL Legacy Dungeons (and Raids!) via Dungeon Finder or at the very least while Timewalking until Level 50. Even at level 50+, players should still be able to cue for BFA Dungeons and Raids until level 53.
This brings me back to “that” ICC encounter you can only solo if your class can heal. It’s skippable otherwise yes but you miss out on an achievement. A workaround could be giving the vendors at the entrance a consumable that can be used to target heal for that encounter.
Personally, the Spine of Deathwing Encounter should get the Gunship Battle Encounter treatment. It’s mechanics are complicated and has zero room for error even when you know what you’re supposed to do. I’ve never cleared it myself and would if it was made easier to clear. Maybe make it so you can’t be knocked off at least as a start.
I would also add at this point, Resources and Gold costs for Garrison upgrades should be cut by 50%+. There’s no reason or need to still be expected to come up with 2k Resources and 5K Gold for tier 3 for example. I’d cut them to 1k Resources and 500G which would be much more reasonable.
Just some ideas I’m throwing out there. Not expecting too much though.
