Soloable Mythic Eonar when?

It’s been years since Legion became soloable all except one major pain point that locks out the later half of Antorus. Mythic Eonar is rough if not impossible for most classes to solo, and it seems silly that it hasn’t been fixed throughout the years.

Haven’t had to many issues soloing it personally. All you need is a move speed buff or a leap if warrior.
Though it’s not a fight you have any room for error during.

What class are you struggling with? I solo’d it for a couple of weeks back in shadowlands on my rogue because she’s the only source of the rogue tier chest; it wasn’t FUN but it was perfectly doable.

I agree it needs one very desperately. I was farming the mount in a group to get the quest items so I could try to solo it. Thankfully the mount dropped after like 70 attempts of doing mythic argus so I never have to go back to that raid ever again.

I’ve been soloing it since bfa. Mythic Eonar requires more then other bosses in mechanics. You actually have to do them.

I’m soloing it on several classes - warlock, rogue, DK - without much issue. Occasionally it takes more than one try (when it decides to just suddenly kill me when I thought I had more time on the ship), but for the most part, it’s perfectly soloable on a lvl 70.

In responce to the title, About a year and a half ago.

just the most toxic community eh? Final doom is a poor mechanic that’s needlessly punishing, if you run out the wrong end of the ship it’s a wipe, assuming you can run and hit all the posts in time after triggering the add wipe in time, meanwhile Eonar is getting punched in the face by puppers. Is it soloable? yes it was acknowledged it was but it’s still NEEDLESSLY punishing and difficult because of one mechanic that doesn’t need to be there. Simply removing the crystals would make it so much more trivial and in line with the rest of the raid at this point. It doesn’t feel good wiping because you were half a second off of running out of move speed buffs.

Did you know you can click the crystal and move onto the next one. You don’t have to stand there and channel it. Once I figured this out, that part of the boss was super easy for me and was getting out of the ship with plenty of time to spare.

Agree on your original point though, I can’t think of any other legacy raid boss that is more punishing.

Sigh… y’all are missing the point. It’s old content from 5+ years ago.

Legacy content should be instant one-shot with a max level player. Period.

What we even talking about here? Transmog runs need “skill” now?
Re-focus your ignorance to the real issue here.

Blizzard has severely and continuously dropped the ball on Legacy content again, and again.

You’re quite welcome. For me, the YouTube video’s didn’t mention a couple of the nuances of this one, and the videos may be a bit dated, as well. It took me about a dozen failures to get the rhythm, but have gotten it every time since. Good luck.

Back during the first patch of BFA I was taking out Blackhand in world quest gear with ease on my Ret Paladin. People like to bring up level squishes and stuff as the actual reason, but they’re wrong. Blizzard really messed up legacy raid scaling for transmog runs during SL from what I’ve seen.

The rule used to be 11 levels to get the damage and resist buffs, but it really hasn’t been the same in the last few years. I’m a big opponent of the way they’ve implemented scaling over the last few expansions. People like to say, “Just wait 2 years until the end of this expansion so you can over-level 2 expansion old content.” It didn’t used to be that way, and it isn’t fun today.

Like I said at the beginning of this post. 11 levels was the mark, and it had almost nothing to do with gearing beyond quest gear to farm 5+ year old content for transmog items. I dislike scaling as done in this game. It even affects regular questing while leveling in a bad way, in my opinion.

This “fight” makes me want to punch kittens. There’s absolutely no need for these sort of mechanics on legacy raids.

Remember: every time you wipe to an old raid boss, God turns a dead kitten into a zombie kitten.

even though we are in Dragon Flight trying to do Mythic Antorus but I can’t ever seem to pass Mythic Eonar I wish we skip her and do other bosses just to get to Argus
