Nasrajin did a solid job of responding to you and was spot on. They aren’t trolling, you’re just ignorant and I’m saying that to be polite. You had the wrong take on every example you brought up.
So with that, what’s your experience? I have 1,000’s of matches played and what you’re saying is just flat out wrong.
They can’t. Post logs or screen shots. You won’t.
I can and did recently. There are some ‘broken’ aspects of it, but it can be avoided and as far as I can see is working as intended.
It’s because the starting MMR is high. You have no idea what boosting is and you can’t even say how you think it works.
You can have literally no gear and be put into higher games. This isn’t new. Quit acting like it is.
Didn’t happen. If you ran logs you could post them and prove this. You won’t.
It’s ignorance. While I think MMR could use some work, it’s not broken. I have made a number of threads WITH SPREADSHEETS showing how MMR fluctuates and what you can expect from it. While Nasrajin and I have disagreed on some aspects of MMR, what he said is correct and plenty of players will back it up…
As I have said and will continue to say to folks like you, explain how it works. You can’t. You guys will do literally everything you can to blame external issues you have concocted rather than look in the mirror. It’s legitimately hilarious to think players are losing games at 1600 because of boosters.
Pilots exist and win/trading exists at the highest ratings. That’s been the case since BC. That’s not something impacting the lower brackets. But let’s ignore that, you got called out for your other points and you give no response? Why is it that you folks will NEVER post a screenshot or logs? Ever?
So let’s look at your paladin. Playing since 2010. Not even 1550 arena achievement. Only does solo. Plays… prot.
Pretty sure SS and blitz’s are the most played ranked PvP modes and most definitely here to stay.
Crazy concept a company adds requested game modes that “solo champs” ask for and it’s the most played since it’s been implemented. Sounds like a very successful company move.
It’s funny how you bash blizzard yet you still pay for a sub lol…
I’m not sure why you’re being so defensive, what I am stating is the truth. Go queue on a fresh 80 in full greens, you will be over 1800 mmr.
No it does not. No offense, but you do not know what you’re talking about and you’re objectively wrong.
Here’s one of my DHs. This dh is 1807 in shuffle with a NEGATIVE winrate. I lost more games than I won in a sample size of 105 games and I’m above 1800.
Oh, okay, so you’re either trolling or just delusional and looking for an excuse for your losses. Cool.
It’s very clear that you are new to the game, and that’s perfectly okay. However, I want to be abundantly clear that you have likely never ever encountered a booster or wintrader in your entire career.
On your paladin, you have maintained a negative winrate of ~40% your entire arena career. You are, on average, losing 3 games for every 2 you win. Despite this, you are between 16 and 1700. You are also playing against other players who lose more than they win. You are, by definition, a very-below-average player.
There is NOTHING wrong with being new or bad at the game. That’s how you learn.
However, not only are you factually incorrect and confident in your wrongness, you are only hurting yourself with your ego. You literally don’t even know what you don’t know.
If you get out of your own way, you’ll find that there are plenty of people willing to help you, but you will neither receive nor deserve that help until you come to terms with reality.
Humor aside, I’d be curious to know what they think the % of matches they have lost because of boosters. Also, that players can maintain a 1600-1700 rating with a negative win/loss needs to be fixed. I think that really points to how much crowding we have right now.
This is the problem with inflation, though. It doesn’t really help anyone at the top end or even in the middle, except make it take fewer games to get a reward.
All it does is confound and make things harder for newer players and leaves them bitter and frustrated.
I have many times. I also have videos. I’ve actually highlighted them in the thread. I have also found their sites and listed them in videos where they advertise.
Blizzard KNOWS about Boosting and Throwing Games, which is why they have a ban list and a methodology to find boosters.
People like you who deny Boosters are as bad as the people who deny the Mafia exists.
But considering you’re illresearched and think I’m new, while claiming only the worst are below 1800, I’d rather see you prove your assertions first
Oh I was also told before that I can’t be posting videos where I accuse people of throwing games on the forums, because it’s against ToS. So I’ve mostly just been sharing them with the /report feature.
Yes, we have all seen the sites. We ALL know they exist. We all also know that they do pilots, which is the majority of the cheating. When I have looked, I only found one site that advertised self play for shuffle, but it didn’t offer any details.
Nah man, it’s that I play the game. If the problem was as pervasive as you suggest, why isn’t it impacting me? Can you tell me that? I probably have 10x the games played as you, maybe more, but somehow you’re going to tell me what I am and am not seeing? Does that make any sense to you? Seriously think about that.
Where are all these boosters? Why do I never see them? Please tell me. On the other, what I do see, is players accusing other players of cheating or doing boosts. I have had players on these forums accuse me of doing a boost. It makes no sense. Thankfully one of those players were suspended, and rightfully so.
