The problem for nearly 18 years of wow arena is that you would say some where “lf player 2v2, 3v3, xxxx rating xp”
this is sloppy and in accurate. The solo shuffle has finally brought to us, true ranked by skill matchmaking. Feels so much better than the way 3v3 or 2v2 actually functions in reality, which is horribly in accurate. The best thing this game could do is add a 2v2 solo shuffle bracket, dont need to do titles if it really tilts you blizzard. But i would literally pay for a 2v2 solo shuffle, do 2 rounds, short and sweet.
Solo shuffle is watered down gameplay that’s about 500cr inflated above normal arenas.
oh ok so when I was a 2300 player in 2v2,3v3 for many years, and then when i was 2275 last season in solo shuffle, is this difference come soon or later?
The most notorious super toxic wow players still que 3s and get endless invites. There’s actually zero difference between the two. Shuffle is full of crash outs who rage type all game and 3s is full of crash outs who drop group after one loss. Just because someone has two friends to play 3s with doesn’t automatically mean the entire bracket is some humble kind safe haven of quality gaming. There’s so much animosity in the air over solo queues hurting 3s and everybody wants to point fingers at different sections of the community when blizzard is the one who released it and allowed the mmr to rocket past ladder.
I agree. as someone who absolutely hated LFG with a passion im so happy solo shuffle was introduced. they should introduce one for mythic+ and raids im sure the community would be relieved. LFG is such an archaic and outdated tool used by elitists to keep a casual player down like myself
Blizzard seldomly acknowledges community feedback for PvP. Players have been very outspoken about blitz mmr being double every other bracket and the issues that has caused. That’s good feedback that has been ignored, finger pointing at the community and just saying solo shuffle sucks isn’t feedback.
I get what you’re saying but it’s just not what the game is anymore. Wow is an old game with an old player base. It can be difficult to coordinate with other people to play regularly nowadays. It just is what it is.
Also, it’s a game you’re paying to play and you can do whatever you want. SS has been around for a while now and i doesn’t seem like its going anywhere. It’s more popular than any other bracket and claiming that it requires no skill or whatever is not going to convince people to start playing 3s more. That kind of divisive approach will only further alienate people and steer them away from 3s.
I know there’s no swaying you from what you think and thats fine, but keep in mind that two things can be true at the same time.
I mean that only hurts them (and benefits me) so I just think it’s a bit of a shame to see the lower end of the ladder fall off in favor of soloq modes which spit out all the same rewards for merely existing in them.
