There is no strong team, you cannot assemble an unbalanced team, which was rmp in all previous additions and other teams.
You do not play like a robot, everything depends solely on your level of play and you raise your own rating.
You improvise, adapt to different allies and enemies, try to change your gameplay. You are not a robot who has memorized strategies, your games are interesting. Watch 3v3 games at high ratings, they are boring bots.
No one is avoiding anyone, as no one plays rat games in the high rankings.
Now think about it, you turn on the tournament on twitch in pvp. What are you more interested in watching? How does rmp play against rmp for 30 minutes or solo mixing of top players? It’s very exciting and interesting.
There are now 6 players in the arena, each of which can be with anyone. This is human evolution. 3x3 is the creation of bots and robots from people.
It remains to give good rewards for solo mixing and 3x3 will remain only for robots, it is not interesting for anyone to sit and memorize strategies. This is interesting only to mediocre people who take the rating not by improvisation and skill, but by the fact that they play in the same team all the time.

2v2 = cheesiest pizza wins
3v3 = team skill, weighed against comp strength and representation

I like rss and 3s about equally, but like all competitions, the team focused brackets are more prestigious.
There is nothing prestigious about solo shuffle. 3s is the only thing that matters skill wise, solo shuffle high rating and shadowlands last season is a good example as to why rating from solo shuffle shouldnt be taken seriously with a bunch of 1700 DH at 2400.
Solo shuffle will be more popular because we are all boomers now and getting your 3 arena partners on at the right time is impossible the older you all get
Your post is troll but unironically this can ring true. A lot of players fumble when it comes to the versatility of arena, playing off less obvious mistakes. This adaptability, is the requirement that sets apart glad players and r1/AWC imo.
A lot of players on the lower end go for like “cc x, kill x” and that’s their whole plan, whereas r1 players are more of a “kill everyone, main x” and play off mistakes/overlaps.
Solo Shuffle is inherently riddled with this kind of gameplay.
…but 3s is still more prestigious, because when both teams are perfectly made, in coms, with 6 players who all have this adaptability, its infinitely more than solo shuffle could ever be.
I think shuffle rating (after a certain point) indicates awareness and adaptability, plus a certain degree of raw mechanical skill, but ultimately 3s is a team game mode and your ability to communicate and strategize as a team is a whole other skill set that you’re basically layering on.
So Shuffle indicates that you know how to play your class, but 3s is more prestigious.
I don’t wanna poop on anyone’s parade, but I personally know people I’ve helped get their first 1800s in SL hit 2100 solo q in just 2 days. 3s is wildly more difficult and there’s nothing anyone can say to convince me after witnessing this.
you mean where most of the really good players in 3/s circle jurk each other and will only play within their own groups, it is extremely difficult to actually get into rated pvp unless you know someone and no one outside of the small rated community takes it seriously, its a closed door and now with solo shuffle the bottom of the ladder like the 1000’s and 1200’s will be out of the ladder almost completely. Solo is no comms random people and you play with everyone except the other healer.
Id have to argue that no form of arena is prestigious over Rated BGs. Arena is all about which FOTM characters blizzard has decided will be top for the season.
