Seems like an OK first step. I’m most nervous about it ending, no one caring, and never hearing anything about it ever again.
i think its not what the playerbase asked for and they probably wont like it.

It’s a 3v3 arena to start isn’t it? That sounds awful, we can just queue arena skirms to get a comp we don’t want. Unless I’m missing something

rated skirms with MMR balancing and no option to queue with more than yourself. that would be a proper starting place for the devs IMO.

Ya I gotta remember it’s for rating, but I never think arena for this I always think RBGs
i was thinking they could start with arena to work out any issues, then move to larger sizes for both PVP and PVE.
Sounds insanely hard to balance it for RBGs. Nobody wants any tank other than guardian druid, so what happens to all the other tanks who queue up lol
sure, but the solution is not to just not try. people are solo queued so there is less stacked comps to worry about. it might be a matter of people just have to learn how to play around certain tanks.

Well but the 6 are constantly shuffled up, which is a nice feature that not only breaks boosters, but is truly reflective of an individuals talent.

I wish they add solo queue 2s. Whenever I was put into 3s skirms in the past, it felt bad, because 3v3 is really difficult to coordinate on the fly and it just kind of felt like random fighting. Whereas 2s is a little more forgiving, and most people play it for conquest with random strangers anyway.

no need to break boosters in a mode where everyone has soloqueued. the shuffle seems nice but would be better suited to a continuous lobby mode where players are shuffled on teams for every new game. arena people really just want to get in and get out. playing multiple rounds for a single arena win doesn’t seem like it would be that popular.

Yes, but this model hyper analyzes your ranking. Essentially you’re playing 3 matches, but the talent is sussed out in a better way so that, over 1000 matches, your talent is the determining factor more than anything else.
100%, people asked for this and they’re doing it which is good
That’s one of the main reasons why a lot of people want SoloQ.
They aren’t forced into playing a spec/class they don’t want to.

Heh, until the toxicity comes out in the rest of the team for not having a meta comp.
Still, I think overall it’s good especially for lower ratings where class comp doesn’t matter
Random, soloqueue 2s. No tanks. No double heals. How is that so hard?
Hey, some tanks are viable.
They hopefully are at a lower rating so you don’t have to deal with them again 
If it’s that bad, block and move on. You are only going to be with them for like what, 5 minutes? At least non-meta specs have a better chance.

You don’t get to choose your teammates with solo queue. That’s literally the point.
I think chat and emotes should be disabled too. Can’t be toxic if you can’t type.
