I go into a solo shuffle, I win 1 of 3 matches, someone quits and loses 150 points, WHY SHOULD I LOSE ANY POINTS? I still had a chance to win 2-3 more games, instead I lose 24 rating points, NOT because I wasn’t working my tail off, but because someone got mad and left the game.
Please STOP punishing players who did not quit a solo shuffle. Punish those who quit even more and make it 250 points and ZERO Points for everyone else. I’d rather get 0 points for someone quitting than losing rating.
Oh and I waited nearly 30 minutes for a solo shuffle queue only to lose points and now I have to wait another 30 minutes to get into another match and PRAY someone doesn’t leave the game early and cost me more points. I wasn’t the quitter, why punish me?
Because you lost more than you won before the match concluded. A solution somebody proposed a while back was that the leaver causes the remaining rounds to play out as if they had lost, though, to potentially alleviate this.
Because people would complain that they got nothing when someone left on the 5th or 6th round.
That’s still not logical. 3 more games to go, I had plenty of time to recoup. But because someone QUIT after 3 games, I lose points. HOW on earth is that fair?
win the first couple games next time so u don’t have to worry about it

A) I can’t control bad players therefore I cannot control the wins or losses.
B) No one, NO ONE should take negative points in a match they did not quit. Give the people who won more their points, but don’t punish the others who did not even have a chance to recoup their wins.
Should winners still get points if the losers didn’t lose points?
I just said, no. They should get whatever % they deserve, but don’t take points away with matches still left to go. It punishes the players who are trying to win as much as the one who left.
Then it’s not a good change. If someone wins points then someone should lose points.
Because it can favor you; you win 2-3, somebody leaves, you get “free” points.
They found that it was more unfortunate for no one to get anything, than for a 1-2 people to lose points because an early leave.
I still should NOT LOSE points either.
One thing they need to do is make it where the people with the most losses arent on the same team 3 consecutive games. For a healer or dps to start off 0/3 is lame. If 2 people are 0/2 they shouldnt be on the same team for game 3 and 4 imo. This helps with leavers too since there would be a better balance of win/losses before the person going 0/6 leaves.
