SOLO SHUFFLE needs a better rating system or just let Solo be 1v1!

Once you get over 1100 rating, Solo Shuffle be like …play 6 rounds and if you play very good and are lucky enough to win 4 to 6 rounds, then you get 1-20 points. However, if your partners are stupid and you don’t carry them, let’s say, only winning 1 round, then it’s -70 points against your individual rating! Really???

So to make those points back you gotta win the next 3 games (18 rounds) with an average of winning 4 rounds (12 total) to at least make 20 points per match or 60 points for those 3 games.

My Solo rating shouldn’t be affected by team members poor performance! As a Warlock player, I’m dropping 20+ crowd controls, doing lots of self healing, trying to dps, and running around. Warlocks are always the main target in every game and every match!!! I literally do the most work and get the least amount of points! Something needs to change!

Yes? It’s a team game.

Dude, the issue is you. Warlocks are great and good warlocks are having no problems climbing.

Trying not to be mean but I’m telling you the truth so that you may improve, rather than being so privileged you expect the game to change for your behalf to compensate for your weaknesses and short comings as a player.

It’s not right to punish players who put the time in to become better players, so that players who still need to develop their abilities can feel as accomplished as those who put in the effort and time.

You’re getting much more than that average. Usually I’m getting 72 points for a 6-0. Even for a 4-2, you’re almost always getting decent points, assuming you didn’t go a massive losing streak.

Depends, but again, don’t go on massive losing streaks.

Lots of players feel that way, but in the end, if you have the ability, you will push up.

1100 players don’t even have their spells keybound or know how to do their dps rotation how are u losing

Look, man. Im gonna be honest. This is entirely because of your mmr. In 2s you have a 33% winrate at 1400.

You lose two games for every game you win, when the average player starts at 1500.

In solo shuffle, you have like 500 rounds played and are around a 50% winrate at 1227 with an alltime record of 1335.

You are EXACTLY where youre supposed to be in terms of rating and that is okay.

Your games have nothing to do with luck or idiot teammates. You just dont understand how pvp works yet, and that’s okay! Everyone learns differently.

I’d start by getting a correct build for demo that doesn’t use nether portal.

Tell me your first 20 globals or so when you start the game.

my destro with no gear is chillin at 1400 with only a few games played. i dont see a problem with locks atm.

There is no problem with warlocks or solo shuffle. OP is frustrated and doesn’t know how to play the game yet. Let’s make this a constructive thread and try to help him out!

Im not hating. Im also still learning. I started at the very end of BFA not knowing a thing about pvp. SL i only did RBG’s for the most part. Started learning arena this xpac. Learning to trade CD’s is the hardest part for anyone, He will learn the game better it just takes plenty of arena time.

Ah yes another flavor of “Im better than my teammates (that are my same mmr) and they suck! I LOST because they are bad at the game and Im stuck here 1600 because of my teammates”

Again. Op is not even close to 1600. They are 1200 in shuffle with a barely positive winrate with a season 1 lifetime record of 1335. They just don’t know how to play their class yet.

Shuffle is fine. Warlock is fine. This is just a learning the game situation.

If you’re only gaining 1-20 points starting at 1100, than likely your mmr was close to 1100. It’s placing you around there because you’re regularly losing to people with higher mmr, and regularly only beating those with similar or below mmr.

I play destro lock too, and I had no problem getting up to about 1700 rating. That’s not me bragging, it’s me showing that you need to improve. There are tons of destro locks playing at 2k and beyond. They clearly regularly play better than I do (and do things I am not). By virtue of them being there, it demonstrates that it’s possible for me.

Just gotta put the work in, practice, ask about strategies, look up guides, watch players streams etc. or quit…those are really your only options. The system isn’t out to get you (even though it may feel that way). We’re all playing within the same system, rules and parameters.

Once you fall low enough in shuffle you enter a hole that can be very hard to climb out of

How are you playing lock to be stuck in such low rating?

Lock is a good spec, there are some helpful guides on YouTube available from Jazggs and Cobrak.

This is a train wreck.

Plain and simply, no

Uh, maybe in a sense if you’re a dps and really short on time and get a few bad lobbies in a row or something. For the most part if you’re playing below your skill level then you’re win a ton and be catapulted out.

yep, anytime i’ve tanked my rating…I eventually get matched up against people below my skill level and I catapult back up. It’s really a ping pong up and down with some bad lobbies, mistakes, and unfortunate circumstances either working in your favor or the opposite.

Was sure to get a 6/6 on my last match but they left at 2 games. Im sure my next games will be hunters/dks/dhs consecutively until I throw my screen out the window and unsubscribe…probably not in that order.
