People hope it will happen. Saying basically if it gets solo shuffle, it would probably not just die off in hype like a few of the other classic re-releases. True or not? I dunno. I’d imagine if you can’t even find retail healers, how would you think there’d be MoP classic solo healers queuing after 2 months or so? Seems like the classic population (Cata into MoP) is a lot lower than retail and even the vanilla classic realms.
I guess maybe it’s people putting a lot of faith into the state/quality of MoP era PvP.

They won’t do it because it will just be another version of the game people are sitting afk with no healers to play with and complain about. Might as well pay for a second account to sit in retail que on if you are going to spend 100$ on a boost.
I would make more fun but whatever, it’s a good thing, fleece the classic/streamer fomo andies blizz. They deserve it.
Yeah people been sitting 30min queues imagine the queue in MoP. They also don’t do balance changes and leave things how they were so it wouldn’t make sense for them to introduce it.
Healers have a lot more agency in MoP and are actual swap targets, so 90% of the healers would quit instantly.
Ive seen game play of it and it looks fun. Healers not being immortal is actually good for overall balance.

yeah i got to around 3100 mmr mid season1 on rsham and they made me feel so uncomfortable the way they talk and acted towards me. rsham was pretty bad but still sucked the will to play out of me
honestly the modern wow pvper is so repulsive I can’t stomach ever playing healer again. Hpal is pretty good rn but the idea of giving these people que pops just disgusts me to my core.

Legion feels way too modern to be a classic expansion. Unless they want to change the definition of “classic” and just call these servers “era servers” or something. Feels like Cata and MoP are pushing it calling them “classic” at all.
Giving “classic” MoP players a way to keep their character going through a retail transfer would be super nice.
It can be only be for mop stuff though. The outrage that would happen would be insane if it was everything from every expansions.
I know what you mean and I thought of it too. But honestly who cares? They technically got whatever they got the original way.
My opinion is either let them keep everything they rightfully earned if a transfer from MoP to retail is allowed. Or recolor stuff I guess to distinguish it from the original-original items. (Thinking of Corrupted Ashbringer, Atiesh, and so on).
If it was only for MoP stuff, I wouldn’t mind that either! Some people really revere the original trilogy of WoW’s prestigious items for sure!
And then, never do Cata and MoP classic again in my honest opinion (or at least not for like another 5-10 years), and keep recycling through Classic Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK. As well as the fabled Classic+, to keep Classic going.

I don’t regularly play classic so I don’t have strong opinion about how they go through with it. I will say, if they announced MoP rewards like the challenge mode sets would be transferrable to retail, I’d certainly put effort into MoP classic. Otherwise, it’s a bit of a skip for me.
I still want classic people to be able to come over to retail with the characters they love.
During vanilla and each expac up to wrath they said NOTHING will ever transfer to retail ever, so if they change their minds it can only be for mop stuff not cata and below
