I’ve been playing since Shadowlands, and this by far has been the worse xpact and ssn so far. Way too many bugs, bm, ele, ferals over tuned. At 2k you are fighting literal awc players, and multi r1s and glads. its not fun. I dont mind sweaty games but blizzard ya’ll really gotta inflate the mmr some more. Players don’t want to “wait” a few weeks for the better players to move up, just inflate it like DF and let us get our rewards and have fun. The fact that most people i know can’t even hit 2100 is sad. i’ve been hard stuck 2k fighting pikaboo, venruki, mes, flark. all these games are 0 fun and usually end up with just discouragement. I know the people i am fighting are 5x+ glad, 2800xp in 3s, and they are 2k… that just seems like such an unfair match up. Seriously fix this mmr issues before you lose more players than you already have due to the amount of bugs and things wrong with this xpact. Otherwise delete TWW and bring DF for ssn 5. DF was awesome compared to this. This doesnt make any players want to play or push. Who wants to fight r1s at 2k? that’s ridiculous. And you think ya’ll can just add the AH mount and the new spectral tiger and make us forget about how terrible mmr is and the xpact?
SS starting MMR is legit 1720 already you go 5-1 or 6-0 you insta go up to 2k mmr i dont think mmr needs a ton more inflation at the moment
my SP is 10-2 in SS and im 2100mmr already
What I mean is players like you, 2.8 xp + should not be 1800-2k in solos. If you look at DF r1s were well above 2400, multi glads like yourself 24-500. Now r1s 2400, multi glads 2k, and that’s the bracket. Sure I’m not as experienced as yourself but it’s also not fun fighting someone like you at 2k when you should be well above my cr/mmr. Ya know? It’s not a personal thing just unfair match ups where the multi glads just goes 5-1, 6-0 just bc he’s 2800 xp higher.

Well… I’m sitting at 2k Cr and got lobbed into a lobby with 4 players below 1600 and a bm hunter who was 2k but… Surprise surprise he got 2k literally the other day for the first time ever.
2 shami in the lobby and one hunter and between the 3 of them kicked a total of 4 times the entire lobby.
Meanwhile the destro locks having the time of his life just sitting mid like a turret free casting chaos bolts.
By far the worst lobby and time I’ve had at any point since the inception of solo q.
Just completely trash
1 lobby 6 rounds, 4 kicks, 0 groundings, 0 tremor, and 2 links used.
This supposedly somehow a 2k lobby because two of us were above 2k
This is the kind of experience that frustrates the community and produces toxic behavior.
Pairing people with experience with people who have 0 experience and thinking the numbers all add up and it evens things out.

you could add 400 more mmr to SS but it still takes time for people to settle down into the new mmr its going to take a few weeks 2k this week is 1800 last week
I feel the same way about BGB I’ll get out in a lobby everyone is 2k+ cr and I’m 1600, yea I won’t lose anything but those other people will take a hit cuz my lower skill.
I think the bracket has to resettle as Kydrav is indicting. Right now, I’m rapidly ping ponging between 1650-1850 MMR. A difference of 50 rating makes an incredibly large difference on individual player skill.
I’m finding a lot of players in mostly greens around that rating as I think shuffle activity jumped significantly last week. I imagine in a week or two, the bracket will settle down and be appropriately distributed.
Yeah my Druid is 1950 and constantly being put into 2400-2600 lobbies. I am fighting for my life like crazy. I do not belong there.
Oh 100%, it was an easy climb to 1900 then highest I got to was 2074 and from I’d say 2k2-2074 there’s a hugeeee difference in the players I face. I look up many of these players I face and from 2k plus most of them 8/10 times have gotten 2700 achievement in 3s and are multi glads. Like I’ve mentioned too literally fighting awc players on alts at 2k too just doesn’t feel right :(. Guess I come back in a few weeks and see if it gets better. I’m all for learning and improving but it’s not fun when you get 3 multi glads or r1s that just destroy you and outplay you by far and you have almost no chance of winning. Lucky if I go 3-3 in those lobbies…

Nobody is queueing because the game is super unbalanced. like 4 or 5 specs overtuned and a bunch of other specs super undertuned. its a terrible arena season

Couldn’t bring myself to play BM for the 3rd expac in a row.
give it time… they just inflated the MMR last week. in a few weeks, more people will play it more (it wasnt played much because it was so deflated) and then they will be 2900 while you are at 2100 again.
i mean to be fair shuffle rating doesnt matter anyway. 2900 is basically the same as being 1500 in regular 3s
